Yeah I thought it was weird cause he is just born in 1997, and he wants to get married, and that to in Korea where people marry pretty late, I might have felt weird cause I have people around me who I can talk too, but probably eunwoo doesn't he might have his members, but still there are somethings you might not want to say them aswell..

Most of these idol were taken away from their families at a young age. They were then put in an competitive and stressful situation. They have to act clean and appealing. they are used as vessels for money. They also don’t learn independence or about the real world. They are sheltered. That is just my guess on why some idols act childish.

We only see their success and envy them but no one talks about the hardships and sacrifices they made during their whole life. Not everyone has the mental and physical prowess to be a K-pop idol. That's why most of them give up their idol life and only those who go through all of this pain and suffering without quitting then become legends and are rightfully called idols. Also luck plays a major role in becoming an idol. Not every talented and hardworking individual gets to be an idol, only some of them make it.
I don't know why I thought I wanted to be an idol in my teenage years to early 20s lol. Thinking about it now I dodged a bullet knowing how crazy things are. I like to eat and want to sleep so nope. I can literally think of so many companies who do these things to their idols and end up getting away with it (Ex. T* Entertainment cough cough). So inhumane to do these to people ;(
This is totally true. Some agencies will tell you to do these (some kind of entertaining to the people of high status). And many of the youngster who wants to enter the industry will be complied to do these knowing that it might help their career in the future. You also need to be careful about the agency because you might be training to do a different job. Because even back in the early 2000’s my mom would tell me about such scenarios. An agency will accept and pick pretty girls. They will train how to sing and dance, but not to be an idol. Agencies train girls to be an entertainer.
Some people are saying that based on when she debuted and the fact that she said they were sunbaenims at the time and that in a previous video she said that a certain group was rude and it started with a G; that was the group might be Girl's Day. I don't know that group but hope this helped lol

Just dealing with some shit if they say no or speak up about it. Kpop is bigger then ever and its not doubt happening to BOTH girls and guys especially those young and those who feel have less power like not at the top like BTS and Blackpink. Though it could be happening to them too like you remember all the famous people who came out of their me too experiences?! And Asia also has different culture like the whole aage difference respect culture and position in businesses too that is used to abuse where the older and/or higher up person is like in control and people especially young and new feels vulnerable and that they can't say no or upset this person because it'll screw up or end their career and again this happens everywhere! Every country like fuck in each and every continent. Every culture and country, sadly kids too. Where there's someone in power and in such a field they have control over someone especially those struggling... Yeah it's fucked up. Yeah people in Hollywood even popular ones have literally lost big roles or pushed out because they didn't give in.
The industry now is darker. I feel like majority of idols trained only to enter a survival show because their agency has no plans or no capability to launch a debut group. Idols who are popular are overworked but at least they have money and fans. Say they get in unfavorable situations when they went out without supervision of the company or security, who pays for the pr to deal with the mess that follows? @@btsarmy.girlliveinmyownwor5798 they're not discouraging or being rude. they're stating a fact that people are not ready to hear. it's really hard to become an idol and the chance for you to debut is 5%. after years of training and hard work people will just criticize you for no reason and every move you make is wrong to them. i too want to become a kpop star but we need to realize first that it's not always "hope". it's luck. if you're not destined to be part of kpop then you're not no matter how much you love it. some people think once they debut they will become big like bts. fame comes with a price. sasaengs, haters, no privacy, discrimination, sexualization, etc. kpop stans need a reality check.
@OMEGALUL 123 thank you. im glad you got my point. some stans will just say "you're so negative" when im just concerned about their health (mentally and physically). i have no intentions in discouraging them or whatsoever. i've encountered a lot saying things like "but im thai and there are some thai idols maybe ill pass" i dont want them to get high hopes just to get crushed after. i hope they open their eyes too :[

Try think of it rationally. They're recognizable. Say they get in unfavorable situations when they went out without supervision of the company or security, who pays for the pr to deal with the mess that follows? The loss of investors pulling out cause of scandal? The drop of sales etc? How do they recoup? The paying of lawyers? Insurance and medical costs in some instances?

I've worked at a label and I'm a publicist. Artists can't even be in an uninsured vehicles by the company cause if anything, the liability is on the label. It's bad. It seems like controlling from afar but there's genuinely both sides to the story.
