One thought on the whiskey smokers, is the glue for the bam-x food safe for the burning? Also, do ashes fall through the holes?

I don't think the BamX is safe for a whiskey smoker due to the glue and I don't think the bamboo would taste as good as white oak. Very cool design and it look great but I would use white oak

Hi, The .16 Profile Rim wants to cut the circle under TOOL PATH #4 description. Needs to be moved to the project. This is for the Whiskey Smoker. No big deal, just FYI for those that may have purchased and downloaded the VCarve files. GREAT projects !!!!

I appreciate your TO THE POINT videos. Straightforward videos and products to are great foe the beginning cnc. One question.....what software do you recommend? Vetric or Aspire? Are your files compatible with both?

Another well done teaching video combined with selling ideas. Quick question how many of the tequila shot trays and/or combination tequila shot and cocktail boards can you fit on one of your sheets (12 x 24) of BAMX. Trying to figure out the rough profit margin cost of materials (not including the other factors like machine cost, labor etc) for the price to sell these items as you suggested in your video. I have several local mexican restaurants with bars that this may be a perfect item for - but will I make money after purchasing your BAMX and how much?

I can't get the whiskey smoker to cut the full program on my Longmill 48X30 I get to the 5th cut and my CNC moves down to the limit switch and stops. I don't know enough to figure it out and now I am part way into the new tiger Bamx I got from you.

Shouldn’t be drinking alone on a Sunday morning. So I guess I’ll have to go crack one open!

Could you explain the "dog-bone" little bit more.. i still dont get it how this holds together

Oof, endmills aren't drills - did ya see the burn? As that bit gets coated with soot, it'll burn more and more and these do smolder. You need a bit that's smaller than the hole (like 3mm) and spiral-ramp for your 1/8" hole at a minimum (faster than a drill toolpath). Also, burning anything in resin-impregnated plywood prob isn't the best choice - use a solid hardwood for whiskey smokers or find an insert for the burn hole 🤔

A hole at the top of the bottle opener for a lanyard would work great. 👍

How will the Bamx stand up to liquid. Lots of liquids in the bar that would spill onto it. And you know that despite warnings folks are going to put this in the dishwasher. LOL

You have 5 easy CNC bar project in the video, but you only have 4 digital files to download. No file for the bottle cap popper.

Re look at the video, at 15:20. he says that he is not going to supply a file for the bottle openers as they are so easy to design yourself

Why wouldn't you use the ball and tray bit for all of the CNC that isn't actually cutting out for the edges? Not being sarcastic, legit question from a noob
