I am going from an LG Velvet (T-Mobile version. MediaTek 1000C. So basically an overclocked Snapdragon 845 with an 855 GPU) to the Motorola Edge 2022. Just bought it today.
I LOVE my Velvet, and it is the best phone ever made (honestly, that saying a lot from an HTC guy), and I will miss my Dual Screen as my daily driver, but the USB and headphone jacks are completely shot now (I will keep it as a backup as I do all my phones, plus I can use it over WiFi), but the Edge 2022 is essentially my Velvet minus the Dual Screen (144hz display doesn't hurt either).
I just found this video today, and it's just so weird given the timing.
