However, after their debut, they are not allowed to choreograph their own dances, thus other choreographers have done so. For the LiLi Flims, Chesir Ha choreographed the dances; she is Lisa's close friend, and Lisa wanted to dance to her choreography.
Yes, Lisa has done choreographing before. It's basically like composing a song, but for physical movements, so it can be quite time consuming, especially when you do it not for just one person, but for a group of people, where everyone has their separate positions, movements and they all have to be coordinated perfectly. If Lisa had to do that for Blackpink's choreographies, it would be a full-time job by itself. As it is, she still had the main job behind the scenes of polishing and mentoring for the group choreography (which is also what people can see her doing in her role as mentor on the Youth With You show).

All her years of dancing show as she watches about seven people dancing all at once and, damn, she catches the smallest mistake and isn't afraid to chew them out if it doesn't look like they're trying their best. Behind that gorgeous smile is a very tough lady...
I believe someone else already pointed out that the dancers in #4 are all professional choreographers and dancers that dance for a living. The important thing to understand here is that Lisa is dancing at the same high level as these trained professionals. Time and time again she has demonstrated this ability. A similar dynamic is true at the BP concerts. All the folks on stage dancing are part of various professional dance troupes and the impressive BP girls...especially Lisa...keep up with them, not the other way around. The dancers dance really well. The BP girls dance, sing, and engage the audience at a very high level.
Lisa started dancing at the age of 3 and has participated in and won various dance competitions. When she went to Korea at the age of 14 she couldn't speak the language but she could dance. In the following years of training she always made the Coreo for the girls. She is a dance computer. Jisoo, Jenny and Rose say that once she sees the dance moves she can do it. She is the best dancer in Kpop.
Cheshir Ha, the lady who was dancing in Lilifilm #4 with Lisa, is the only Blackpink choreographer whose name I'm familiar with, but there have been others. (I remember a video of the members talking about someone they called "potato teacher" that they thought pushed them pretty hard, but they seemed to appreciate that she did, rather than objecting to it. They ALL seem to have a strong work ethic!) There is also a dance practice video in which Cheshir Ha works with Lisa, helping her to sharpen up some new choreography, and it's a good example of how long and how hard they all go to reach the level of perfection we get to see. (Oh, and it also lets us see how exhausted they can be afterward!)
Ahahah the backup dancer (female) is literally the Lisa's dance teacher and choreographer of this videos..She is considered one of the best choreographers in Korea In my opinion I think I put her and definitely Lee Leejung as one of the best choreographers, dance teachers in Korea. At least female choreographers..
Sadly, Cheshir (Lisa's dance teacher) moved to Europe (Germany I think) and that's why we haven't gotten anymore LiliFilm dance videos. Lisa pays for these videos out of her own pocket.

Yes, she has been doing chorography and writing songs since her debut. SHe wrote most of her own raps and choreographed her own songs and dance videos. The 3rd film has always been a FAN FAVORITE. Also, fun fact: the song she used for "THE MOVIE" film is sang by Destiny Rogers who was a small American artist (really known by more locals based in Cali). However, when Lisa danced to her song, Destiny revealed that Lisa actually saved her career. Destiny revealed in an interview with Eric Nam how Lisa's cover of "Tomboy" really helped her financially and impacted her music by bringing in THOUSANDS of streamers she never had before. It's funny though bc Destiny did not even know who Lisa was before her cover of Tomboy (and her friends FT'd her like omg lisa is dancing to TB) but yea it blew up . Destiny has become another big supporter and appreciator of Lisa. They are great friends now and Destiny even went to BP's Born Pink concert in LA, and met up with Lisa and they took pictures together. Also, they have hung out a few times too. I just figured I share this story because not only did Lisa change someone's life but someone benefitted from Lisa covering their song and was glad enough to express their story about how many ways their life has changed bc of it. Very emotional moment at that time it was for Destiny. I personally did not know who Destiny Rogers was but since then, I listened to a lot of her music and she makes a lot of relatable bops.

It’s funny that even though dance was never my focus, I started recognizing some individual backup dancers behind various groups. And I came to know choreographers Gabee and Leejung through variety shows first. Lisa seems to be widely accepted as being at the very top though.
Lili's film is Lisa's personal channel. Each member of Blackpink has her own channel. The lady in #4, Cheshir Ha, is the master and the choreographer. The Movie, I used to see somewhere was about Lisa found out the group she associated with had a plan to betray her so she had cooperated with the card dealer to silence them. The song by Destiny Roger, there was an interview that she had 2 months to servive with her financial but the Movie came out and her song got a huge hit. She was really greatful to Lisa. And I heard last year Destiny was about to release a new song, Lisa's dance of her Tomboy got viral again.

Some funny info.. : The artist of the song "Lili film the movie" went public to thank Lisa wholeheartedly because she even said that she was seriously thinking about quitting the song. And as soon as Lisa did this cover dance to her song, she started to get even more recognized and that Lisa doing it completely changed her life. The impact that Lisa had on her was so great that just the fact that Lisa performed with her music changed the artist's life. 🤗 That's the impact Lisa has. It can change lives.
That's impressive. It's also why I never understood why companies block some reaction videos. Any publicity can be good publicity for them and you never know which one might go viral.

But there it is, if it was because of that, they would just claim the copyright and they would still get the royalty money. And the person could still use the music. The music industry and its rules are not easy to understand. But I believe that sooner or later this will change. Because it's starting to be something very outdated. Nowadays, with so much access to new music due to streaming platforms and other things like TH-cam and Tiktok, I believe that they will have to start changing some things.

You are correct. Almost every reaction video they claim 100% of the revenue. A few artists do share it with the reactor, but not many, and usually not the really popular ones.

A great example of her choreography is her dance preformance to "I like it" with X academy on the YGX channle- she choreographed the entire dance (within about 10 minutes if I remember correctly). IIRC, you haven't reacted to "Shoong!" yet. Just something to put on your list for a possible future reaction. It's a really fun song that features Lisa (dancing and singing/rapping). The main artist is Taeyang. The interactive dancing between Taeyang and Lisa is really good, and the other parts of the song also feature several famous dancers as back-up dancers. (Taeyang was a member of the group "Big Bang" (also under YG Entertainment)...a boy group that dominated Kpop for most of the period between 2007 ~ 2015. Taeyang sat in on a performance by Lisa when she arrived at YGE as a trainee candidate and was introduced to many of the top people at the company. According to Taeyang, he told the top boss that he was sure that Lisa was going to be a huge star.)

Lisa is not a dancer. she is a KPOP Artist. which can dance and sing and rap. while the back up dancers you keep referring too, are more than back up dancers. many of the dancers are employed by YG and in the group YGX They are not back up dancers, they are professional dancers. Many artist use back up dancers to enhance the program, while Lisa leads the dancers, as her skills are equal if not better than most professional dancers.

The #3 dance video went viral around the world when it came out...especially when celebrities and other people started a big trend of doing photoshop edits where they used Lisa's legs as their legs and captioned it "# Does it work?" Talk show hosts, movie stars, singers (including Dolly Parton) tried it out. Famous characters from movies and TV shows were brought into it too, like Spock (of Star Trek) having Lisa's legs and Spiderman. Lisa once joked that it was only her legs that became famous from that video.
About the "back-up" dancers, in "The Movie" all of the back-up dancers are highly-rated, well-known top choreographers in Korea, including Cheshir Ha (Lisa's long-time friend, mentor and choreographer) and Bada Lee (who does choreography for several top Kpop groups and artists). Cheshir Ha is also the woman who dances with Lisa in #4.

The 3rd film has always been a FAN FAVORITE. Also, fun fact: the song she used for "THE MOVIE" film is sang by Destiny Rogers who was a small American artist (really known by more locals based in Cali). However, when Lisa danced to her song, Destiny revealed that Lisa actually saved her career. Destiny revealed in an interview with Eric Nam how Lisa's cover of "Tomboy" really helped her financially and impacted her music by bringing in THOUSANDS of streamers she never had before. It's funny though bc Destiny did not even know who Lisa was before her cover of Tomboy (and her friends FT'd her like omg lisa is dancing to TB) but yea it blew up . Destiny has become another big supporter and appreciator of Lisa. They are great friends now and Destiny even went to BP's Born Pink concert in LA, and met up with Lisa and they took pictures together. Also, they have hung out a few times too. I just figured I share this story because not only did Lisa change someone's life but someone benefitted from Lisa covering their song and was glad enough to express their story about how many ways their life has changed bc of it. Very emotional moment at that time it was for Destiny. I personally did not know who Destiny Rogers was but since then, I listened to a lot of her music and she makes a lot of relatable bops.
That's a very cool story. This is why I still say that it makes no sense for companies to block covers or reactions to their songs as you never know what kind of great publicity it can give them.

It’s funny that even though dance was never my focus, I started recognizing some individual backup dancers behind various groups. And I came to know choreographers Gabee and Leejung through variety shows first. Lisa seems to be widely accepted as being at the very top though.

Lili's film is Lisa's personal channel. Each member of Blackpink has her own channel. The lady in #4, Cheshir Ha, is the master and the choreographer. The Movie, I used to see somewhere was about Lisa found out the group she associated with had a plan to betray her so she had cooperated with the card dealer to silence them. The song by Destiny Roger, there was an interview that she had 2 months to servive with her financial but the Movie came out and her song got a huge hit. She was really greatful to Lisa. And I heard last year Destiny was about to release a new song, Lisa's dance of her Tomboy got viral again.

The artist of the song "Lili film the movie" went public to thank Lisa wholeheartedly because she even said that she was seriously thinking about quitting the song. And as soon as Lisa did this cover dance to her song, she started to get even more recognized and that Lisa doing it completely changed her life.
The impact that Lisa had on her was so great that just the fact that Lisa performed with her music changed the artist's life. 🤗

The music industry and its rules are not easy to understand. But I believe that sooner or later this will change. Because it's starting to be something very outdated. Nowadays, with so much access to new music due to streaming platforms and other things like TH-cam and Tiktok, I believe that they will have to start changing some things.
@@CoachCastTVFunny thing about that is that the label the artist was under, actually did try to block Lisa's "The Movie" dance video...and the artist herself (Destiny Rogers) contacted the label and told them to unblock it immediately. Lisa and Destiny later met up in person several times and Destiny was invited as a VIP guest to Blackpink concerts in Los Angeles (where Destiny is located).
You are correct. Almost every reaction video they claim 100% of the revenue. A few artists do share it with the reactor, but not many, and usually not the really popular ones.

In #4, the female back-up dancer = Lisa's dance teacher and choreographer of all 5 dance videos. The 2 male dancers = colleagues or dance instructors of the female dancer's dance club/academy. In the 5th video (The Movie) she is the one with short curly hair. Her name = Cheshir Ha.

You guys were wandering if Lisa does her own choreography- while she didn't choreograph the lilifilms, she does know how to choreograph! A great example of her choreography is her dance preformance to "I like it" with X academy on the YGX channle- she choreographed the entire dance (within about 10 minutes if I remember correctly). The viedo is called "LISA X CRAZY - "X ACADEMY TEASER VIDEO #3 ". While watching it you should also check out the "LISA X KIEL TUTIN CHOREOGRAPHY VIDEO" and the "HOONY, DK, LISA X HITECH, CRAZY - "X ACADEMY TEASER VIDEO #4" also on the YGX channle - they're short dance videos similar to the lilifilms, and her preformances on the "Youth with you" show where she was a dance mentor on seasons 2 and 3.

IIRC, you haven't reacted to "Shoong!" yet. Just something to put on your list for a possible future reaction. It's a really fun song that features Lisa (dancing and singing/rapping). The main artist is Taeyang. The interactive dancing between Taeyang and Lisa is really good, and the other parts of the song also feature several famous dancers as back-up dancers. (Taeyang was a member of the group "Big Bang" (also under YG Entertainment)...a boy group that dominated Kpop for most of the period between 2007 ~ 2015. Taeyang sat in on a performance by Lisa when she arrived at YGE as a trainee candidate and was introduced to many of the top people at the company. According to Taeyang, he told the top boss that he was sure that Lisa was going to be a huge star.)
Lisa paid for these out of her own pocket. I think she's made her money back though. ;) BP and other girl groups/solo artists make a point that gets overlooked: Most of these Idols don't mind showing some skin or being sexy, they just want it to be their choice as to when and where, not a requirement or an expectation. Idle, in true Idle fashion, took that one head-on in "Nxde". Coach actually did pretty well with #3, a lot of reactors had full-on meltdowns. :)

Many artist use back up dancers to enhance the program, while Lisa leads the dancers, as her skills are equal if not better than most professional dancers.
