Sorry, but it is NOT accurate. It is so fast that it may seem that way. Don't get me wrong, the speed is amazing and sounds clean to a very high degree, but it's pretty much all he's got. As soon as he slows down you hear he can't play slow. But in its genre, pretty damn impressive!

Bear in mind he didn't even recorded drum parts for the "Vobiscum Satanas" record, and still made this song very much his own, pure speed and technicality, sick drummer.

When Nils became the drummer for the group, comments circulated saying that Nils is actually righty playing a left-handed set-up. At first, I wasn’t sure if I believed it. But after years of playing myself, I can imagine a man with 20+ years of playing experience could develop that ability. After all, Dave Lombardo is a lefty who plays a right-handed set-up.

His technical skills are astounding, no question about it. The other astounding thing is how many fantastic musicians have come from Scandinavia period.

Aaron WAS fast sure, but he also embraced drum programming in ways that most consider cheating. To each his own, I personally dont care as long as the end result melts my face off.

@@kingkeltic4228 yes pretty sad actually, he did indeed play the parts on Elysian Grandeval Galeriarch but just punched in ALOT, and to be fair Francesco Paoli from Fleshgod admitted to using the same punch in method when in studio and many people including myself still consider him a titan of death metal drumming. Aaron WAS fast sure, but he also embraced drum programming in ways that most consider cheating. To each his own, I personally dont care as long as the end result melts my face off.
