How can Reed be the best shooter when he only managed to take 8 FGA per game while playing 29 minutes a game….???🤦 He averaged 38% from three point range in high school with more volume. Odds are what he did at Kentucky, with very limited volume, was an anomaly that he will never repeat again.
I’d be more interested in his AAU stats than high school to look for a trend. He played HS ball in the mountains of eastern KY with no teammates of note. That leads to a ton of bad shots.
@@stilldre247 It doesn’t matter. It’s still best to look at those things when dealing with one & done college players. Also, I maybe wrong about the 38%…I’m seeing information that he shot 33%. The Rockets got burned the same way with Jabari Smith Jr. by not looking at his high school numbers. He’s not as good a shooter as people hyped him up to be.
Kel'el Ware is another guy that will probably fall, although from watching enough, Rich - you probably think that's a bad take. I think it'll depend on where he goes for him to succeed, but he could fall easily.
