1st of November 2012 he's back in my hometown again. I will be there again. Yep. Many greetings from the Netherlands . Rock On . (By the way , I still love this video)
Awww, caught Walter when he was over in the UK, amasing, never heard anything quite as good. Headed over to MO to see the gf in sept, wondering if I can find a way to get down to CA to see him again.
@Adjuh1 I bet it will be great! Lucky you! That will be a sight to see, of course so would Enschede, grin, (I just had to look it up, I couldn't resist!) The nearest I have ever been was inside the Amsterdam airport en route to Paris. You are in for a treat, tremendous talent coupled with a marvelous energy. Walter Trout and his band know how to ROCK, indeed they do!!! And that is putting it very mildly... Sure hope you take some pictures, hint, hint.
Thanks Adjuh1, I am a complete novice when it comes to video. It really surprised me, the upload took right around 24 hours, and that was using the advanced upload option. I love this camera and have been getting used to the switch from film to digital.
Thanks to you spelleb! The train made me realize I will need a fluid tripod head. I am just learning. The mike I used was a Rode Stereo Video Mic, on the camera. Any suggestions for something better that would be compatible with a Canon 5D MarkII?? I am definitely open to all suggestions and trying to learn all I can, as quickly as I can. What a wonderful evening this was. Walter Trout was amazing, this video did not even capture half of the sound, he put on an incredible show!
It always amazes me the audio that comes from this mic,and ive never got audio anywhere near this with mine.I use a canon hv30 hd cam and use the mic att and flick the -10 switch down and monitor the levels and still it doesnt sound this nice.Any suggestions other than what ive mentioned?.
