Hi , i have a question , my wife and i want to immigrate to calgary 3 months later , my wife is working in bank for 10 years in IRAN and she wants to work in bank there , how to find a job in bank? .Thanks for your answer.
I've been in Calgary and when it comes to historical buildings, Montreal wins by far. In fact Ottawa has more historical buildings than Calgary, because you will only find dose buildings in Stephen Avenue, and the rest of the city was made out of glass. I don't understand why architectures can't make modern buildings with the charm of old buildings?
@Jasveer Singh Bal I'm sorry but you have to be corrected on this. You can have an active, outdoor lifestyle at any time of year in Canada. Calgary isn't particularly cold even at the coldest times of the year but I understand you may not be used to it. However, there are really only 4 months that may impede somebody's outdoor activities if they can't suffer the cold. Even then, it's not cold during all of those months (December, January, February and maybe March) You can't move to Canada and expect temperatures to be above freezing all year long. It's Canada.
@Jasveer Singh Bal Calgary is one of the most sunniest cities in CANANDA. Something like 350 days of sunshine a year! Plus you can still go outside more and have beautiful climate all year round. It does snow as much as Montreal or Winnipeg. I lived in both cities. It's a dry cold and dey heat. Very mellow weather with no extreme. Maybe 2 weeks in summer or a month of very cold in the winter. Not compared with the rest of Canada.
I went to Calgary about 5 years ago and I sure had a lot of fun exploring and running through the paths, parks and trails. The Calgary Stampede was nice too, I was sort of expecting more but it still turned out to be a great experience. I actually ended up working at the Stampede during my trip to make some extra money, it sure helped out a lot. The downtown TD Square is really nice too, it far outweighs cheap Portage Place here in Winnipeg with its design and available stores to shop at. I loved the garden areas up on the top of TD Square. Great place to chillax, read, and drink coffee.
Calgary's downtown doesn't have a very dense population due to bad planning back in the initial boom years in the 60s and 70s, and as a result downtown tends to shut down in the evenings and weekends. In the last 30 years or so the City has begun to redevelop the areas around the downtown to boost the population. Places like Eau Claire, East Village, Beltline, and in the near future Victoria Park (the entertainment district) are all being redeveloped in hopes of creating a vibrant downtown.

How does Canada maintain such cleanliness so much??? Every video I see of a Canadian city, I rarely see litter, garbage, etc., the streets are always so clean
It's because the cities are well maintained by people themselves like there are multiple garbage bins and so less litter. That being said there are some places that are dirty but for the most part its quite clean than most countries.
Canadians in general aren't fond of littering, I guess it's just how we are. But if we see someone litter, we will actually tell you to go pick it up, lol
I haven’t been to Calgary since 2013 but I’m from Edmonton, the city 3 hours north of Calgary. I now live in the States and haven’t been back to Canada since 2018 last year.
I live in Calgary. Notice one thing that's missing besides the cars? How about the fact that there are hardly any people walking around downtown. That's what happens when you chase all of the traffic away, the downtown core becomes dead with no shoppers to fill the stores there. This has been a problem in downtown Calgary for quite some time.
Normally in the summer, Calgary is about 25 to 30 degrees, and most of Canada is really hot in the summer. For example Toronto if often above 30 degrees Celsius with lots of humidity, interior BC is about 40 degrees (100F) so shorts are a must!
I am using the Zhiyun Smooth 3 Gimbal that holds the phone, which records the video. As you have noticed, the up and down motion is not as smooth as the rest of the axis but still I find the Zhiyun delivering a respectable result as I am walking fairly fast in my videos.
