- This new item is scheduled to be released nation wide at the end of August. This will be in testing phase from June 25 2024 until August 2024.
McDonalds Canada: Starting today, selected McDonald’s restaurants in Ontario and Alberta will begin testing a new, satiating burger. The test will run from June 25 until early-August, with the intention to roll out the burger nationwide later this summer.
Dubbed the Big Arch™, this new sandwich is McDonald’s response to guests' desire for a satiating burger with more of the great-tasting, quality ingredients fans of McDonald’s love.
The Big Arch burger is sure to be a fan favourite for the extra hungry looking to satisfy their McDonald’s cravings. Its two beef patties - made from 100% Canadian beef - are perfectly layered with three slices of white processed cheese, crispy onions, slivered onions, pickles, lettuce, and our new, delicious Big Arch sauce. It’s a quintessential McDonald’s burger that satisfies guests' hunger with a twist on our iconic flavours.
For now, guests in the test markets might be lucky enough to grab a first taste of the Big Arch burger. For the rest of Canada, we recommend saving your appetite and keeping a close eye on McDonald’s social channels for news of its official launch.

That's how the Big Mac was in the 90's lol
Everything was so vibrant and fluffy then 😆
Bro it’s 4AM and I live in Turkey why am I watching this 😭
@@Corporal-Clegg I made a point cookin asmr, maybe that will help you sleep?
Cost is the really prohibitive aspect to this burger for most I think. The first two times I tried it my local store didn't put the crispy onions on when I had selected 3 in the app for extra, which was disappointing.
The last one I had a couple nights ago whoever made it did me good as the burger was loaded with them and the bottom of the box had a nice layer of them 😂. I used the ones in the box for the McDoubles I bought for my lunch the next day.
McDonalds pricing has been odd lately for their premium sandwiches. Their specialty Quarter Pounders only end up costing you $0.40 to upgrade to the double version, but the normal version is like an extra $1.50 for the additional patty.
Honestly if it weren't so costly it'd be my favourite burger on the menu as it gives me more or less a cross between the Big Mac and the Quarter Pounder. Though I get extra sauce on mine, which makes it even messier to consume 😅.
I couldn't imagine eating one in public, I had to hose down my beard all three times I had it.
Honestly, mcdonalds should use quarter pounder patties on all their non value menu burgers to semi partially justify the costs lately
You're onto something! Good point!
You have to remember, McDonalds is a real-estate company, not a restaurant chain.
@ Sunmourn Def Yes!
So why it is worth it to introduce their burger, even it's not a restaurant?

@@Sophiern I think it's a great addition to the menu!
@@Sophiern Worst €8.50 spent. Bad sandwich. Meat slips, sauce is bad and the onion leaves something to be desired. Doublé cheeseburger is much better. Ate today early. Mc Donalds isn’t good with giants sandwich except Big Tasty (or Mc Tasty I forgot the name of that, but you know what I’m talking )

@nicbquatro I just saw a review on it from Germany, looks like it might be a worldwide release!
The arch deluxe was such a great burger. They claimed that production cost was what made them cancel it off their menu 😢
@loirinlancaster3 I liked the arch deluxe, but it was a burger that nobody asked for, which is why it failed. Also, the marketing was a but of a how not to market, alienating the target audience us just a weird play.
Yeah. I remember them only targeting Adults
@seanskywalka5172 I was a kid and I liked it
At this rate, the next one will be called the Jib Crane.
"Come as you are, swing as you leave"
@McMacaraccoon I don't get it. You can only leave at a 90 degree concentric circle? Or they just have to use a crane to get you out, in which case a bridge crane would be easier to use. You didn't think I was crane certified, did you?
@@TalentlessCooking I didn't know that, that's so cool !
Yeah so basically they use a jib crane either when they drag customers in or when they kick them out. The boom stretches out and the pillar rotates for optimal range. Although a jib crane can't do none of that.
Where did you get the Big Arch from in Ontario? What city and intersection? Im in Oakville
Probably Mississauga...
@@DDWRT88 yeah but where in mississauga?
I'm in Alberta, I don't know.
The fry sauce is what saves it otherwise it's just a double quarter pounder with more pickles and onions which isn't to say that's a bad thing, that's how I prefer my burgers. Just nothing groundbreaking and in fact it was too much meat, even for this beefy, Beef-fed Albertan... If they made a version using Big Mac buns and patties I'd be much more likely to order it again...
@stickynorth order a mac and sub out with arch sauce, I bet it's great!
10 bucks for just the burger is insane. Inflation really going ham.
@JaBBerSmack that's my favorite part it's 10 euro, 10 usd and the cheapest price of all 10 cad, we finally got the cheapest one!

@drewsreviews83 I wasn't reviewing McDonald's then, you maybe right. What I can say is, this was a really good and satisfying burger, really great flavors!

@@TalentlessCooking
The Big Tasty Bacon has been an integral part for several years here in Germany. I guess over 10 yesrs. Not sure.
I always order it with double sauce and extra bacon. I love the sauce. It's similar to Develey's white bbq sauce but with more liquid smoke flavor.
But here in Germany we don't have In-n-out Burger. I love In-n-Out.

@@metatron2332 I think the only place in Canada that has in and out is Toronto, and they just got it.

Why does Canada have all the cool things 🥲
We dont
Sure you can just get a double quarterpounder plain plus lettuce and bigmac sauce
@EZ4U2Say11 you sure can. It's a different sauce called arch sauce, and it's a different cheese, white cheddar, not American. Plus crispy onions and slivered onions.
10 dollars for this big hamburger NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@glennglover and that's in Canadian, American price is probably $3.50
I love that a cheeseburger at McDonald's still tastes the same as it did 50 years ago. That makes me feel like a little kid again. And the fries too. If only AI had samples😅
Since Mcdonalds stopped using peanut oil back in the early 90's the fries taste different.

Not a burger without slices of onions and tomatoes. MCDONALD'S uses dehydrated onion pieces, terrible.

Looks like the same bun and patty from the quarter pounder. All they did was add a shit load of lettuce to make it look big. McDonalds in usa is not doing well. They are always empty.
I have never seen a poppy and sesame seed bun at McDonalds, the sauce is completely different and I think it's a bigger patty than the quarter pounder. I had lettuce onion and crispy jalapeno, as well as a white cheddar. It's a very different burger from what you're describing.
The can't have burger is better for my cholesterol😅
You got a weird Mcdonalds default box haha or some weird overstock mistake. Ive never seen a blank box before.
@titustelesco2870 this was when the big arch just hit test markets, almost 2 months before the Canada wide release, there was no art out yet.
They honestly think this is going to save Mcdonalds by adding another premium burger to the menu costing nearly 15 dollars for the meal and 1100 calories as well. It wont taste much different from anything else they've done. People have had enough of paying daft prices for junk food & Mcdonalds plus, Mcdonalds is just not cool to the younger generation. Big Maca used to be double the size of what they are now 20 years ago. They’ve changed since McDonald’s added the calorie counts and post-supersize era. Where the mknster size fries and drinks went bye bye. They were like two large fries and two medium drinks. Thr burgers were a lot bigger from the first time trying a Big Mac/double Big Mac to first time trying a chicken Bjg Mac and the new smaller size Big Mac from 2004 to 24 they’ve shrunk in comparison. The big Arch looks like an old school Big Mac when the patties were huge. Their Pizza was awful like the Schauzhen sauce.
