      Yep. Pretty much a small number of people are responsible for saving them from extinction.

    Wow that would be something to have a bison just walk through your campsite, have any been known to be aggressive?

      I don't know about this specific park, but there are stories about every year about someone being "attacked" by one in some place. Usually it's because people don't respect that these are wild animals, and will defend themselves, and their young, if they think the person is a threat. Treat them with respect and stay a safe distance away and they, and you,will be fine.
