I'm trying the MSc in finance route in London, but I'm not from the U.K. I would like to use your services to help me understand how things work in the UK and how I can reach my goals.
Thanks A LOT for this video! I thought I don't have chances to get into investment banking firm because of lack of relevant work experience. But now I know I can get a M.Fin! That's exactly what I wanted to do after bachelor degree. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Afzal!
Hi Afzal. Awesome video as always!! Does certification help ? And is it right that getting into Operations is much easier into an IB?And which certificate or courses is recommended for IB operations?
Currently at PwC right now, and I've been wanting to switch into investment banking... if I can't get in right after my designation, I was thinking of getting my MBA so I can try to land an internship and then get in that way.
chonger I got rejected from all the big Investment Banking firms but I’m starting a graduate scheme in Tax Consulting at Deloitte. I personally think IB firms are very hard to get into
Hello Afzal/community In which position do strategy consultants normally start when breaking into ib? It will obviously depend on the experience, but let's assume they have been in consulting for 2-3 years. Thanks in advance!
Great video Afzal. I have a question however. I study in the US but if I intern at a bb bank in another country, can I still get offers from the bb bank to work in the US after college?
My current goal is to become a neurosurgeon. Do you think it would be possible to get into investment banking with a degree in health sciences if I don't get into medical school?
Hi Afzal, what are your thought if I become an fund accountant "for alternative asset-hedge funds/PE" then do CFA level 1- what are the chances of breaking into the world of 'IB"
I’m in my 2nd year of computer science and engineering, but would like to get into investment banking. I am predicted a first however i studied business and economics at a levels but grades weren’t as good (B AND C) could I still make it as an investment banker???
Bro I just had partner interview, it went very positive and she said in terms of feedback purposes only constraint is the start date will be July or August, is this a good sign does it mean I am really being considered? And I also asked for her business card in which she gave it to me with no hesitation
