They're so beautiful! They could also make nice wallets or picture frames or a mini photo album. Thank you for all your tutorials. This is my new favorite hobby. It's been so helpful for me as I have anxiety. Your videos are an inspiration and you are so creative and talented. Thank you for sharing, God bless you.
Thank-you for your excellent tutorial on slow stitching and your needle book. What a great gift idea for the girls in my family for Christmas. I better get started! 🌼
You do have the talent you just need to get started. I felt the same way earlier, I just started messing around, listening to the tutorials, and following her advice and basically having fun. Don't worry you'll get the hang of it. Just practice and have fun. God bless.
I’ve started my needle book. All my pieces are laid down and basted, now I have to go find size 8 thread. So excited. I wish I could send you a picture, thank-you for the great tutorial.🩷
@@sandraweiler5971 how exciting! 😊🧵🪡If you send me a message using the contact form on my website I will respond by email so you can send me pictures www.jomorphett.com/contact-1
When you do the self binding, are you using floss, perle cotton or regular sewing thread? Thank you for your tutorials. You are so thorough with your explanations.
@@RebeccaToups I’m using two strands of floss here but any of the three would work. The sewing thread would be barely visible and the perle cotton would be very visible. In matching colours any thickness would blend and add subtle texture. 😊🧵🪡
The felt is to keep the needles from rusting. I think the felt you used looks like acrylic or some man made fiber. I guess that must protect the needles. I always assumed one should use all wool felt or felt with a lot of wool in it to really protect metal. Am I wrong? Now I have picky comment over, I most say I enjoyed watching your creative process and I look forward to watching more of your TH-cam videos.

They are really pretty. You could also make an envelope pouch, a pouch for scissors (folding lengthwise), or make a smaller square for a coaster.

How many strands of embroidery thread did you use?
@@carolentringer8836 I use 2 strands of the 6 stranded floss and for the pearl cotton I use the one twisted strand.

@@KathyDowning-l1g I haven’t heard that but it makes sense that the lanolin in wool would help prevent rusting. 😊🧵🪡
