These lyrics hit so deep and give me shivers; as someone who has dealt with depression, anxiety, abuse, addiction and constant thoughts of suicide for the past 4 years but somehow still manage to fight through each day and come out alive for my friends and family.
These lyrics are simply perfect, forever grateful for Amity I can’t even tell you how many times listening to their songs has saved me life ❤

It'll sound funny coming from a longtime Amity fan, but despite dozens and dozens of songs about suicide and depression, this is the one that got to me...
Living after you tried, it's not easy. Like missing a flight you booked weeks in advance, bags are packed, ticket checked, then you have to return home. It's such a strange feeling.
We played this at my husband's funeral service on June 29th 2023. This song meant more than words can say to both of us, and we were the only ones that understood those things in each other. We also played "Carry On" by Falling In Reverse. Thank you, The Amity Affliction for putting into such beautiful music what Joey and I recognized, understood and bonded and fell in love with in each other for 8 wonderful years. I miss him and my soul and heart are ripped apart daily at losing him, but hearing this again gives me a short bit of comfort which is now more precious to me than all the money in the world. Thank you from the very bpttom of what's left of my heart. I love you guys. Bless yall.

I lost my grandma October 31st, 2015 I carry her with me everywhere I go. Random things pop up everywhere that remind me of her and makes me know she's watching over me. I was supposed to go to my first amity concert that exact day and I had that unexpected news i never wanted to get a call about. I miss her dearly I got married last year and it killed me that she wasn't there for it. I'm expecting my first child on October 17th. I'm naming my baby girl after her. Amity has helped through so much through child abuse Physical,Mental,Verbal and being neglected growing up by my mom. Me fighting through endless depression and bipolar episodes. They've helped me and I can't thank them enough.

Oct of 2021 We lost our 27 year old son. He was actually my step son but he was my son. He was born with a degenerative condition and we knew his time was short. What i got to see was a love bond between him and his mother that was truly the deepest connection of love i have had the fortune to witness. With his loss i have seen her go through each day with a pain and longing for him that tears at my soul for i wish she didnt have to feel the hurt she does. This song really captures her burden and just how strong she is to make it through each day. She is an example of her sons strength to be able to fight through so much and get to the next day but not without her ghosts.

I’ve struggled my whole life with depression and late last year, I got Covid and ended up having longing damage to my spine. I’m unable to work right now until I can wake up and actually get out of bed. This song speaks to me so much to me on so many levels I can’t even.. I'm 51 battling my own feelings of anxiousness, fear and sickness and I carry these ghost with me 24/7. I recently lost my father which has been harder on me than I anticipated. My ghosts are with me always I just live with them now instead of hiding.
As someone fighting another cancer battle for the second time in my life. And as someone who has lost countless friends and loved ones to suicide and drugs and have witnessed some of these deaths. This song hit so hard. I have done many things in my life I am not proud of in life. And with this second diagnosis I was planning on not doing chemo at all, but after hearing this song it’s like I felt the hands of all the ones I love and miss on my shoulders telling me not to give up and give in and to keep moving. With tears in my eyes you have no idea how much this song means to me.
