Nah is crazy how this anime doesn’t get the recognition it absolutely deserves. It just popped up in my Netflix and I felt in love with it, watched it 3 - 4 times I think. The visuals are incredible, the colors, the shapes are just 🤌🤌🤌 And this video is the absolute proof that the soundtrack is amazing. Period. Of course, all of this wraps up with the story, that OH. MY. GOD. it’s just sooo goood!!! You just want to keep watching the next episode, and the next, and the next, and the next. I just love the way everything gets tied together from the start till the end. And gotta say it, every time they finish the job, the person who got scammed gets that surprise face, and this song starts playing, it just sends shivers through the whole body. Absolute shivers. It's been a week since tae decided to drive into the wrong side of the freeway at 80mph, too hyped up from the song believing he'll pull a great pretender and fake his death, he wasn't the smartest man, but he was our friend, a brother, and a weaboo.
Reminds me of Cowboy Bebop's opening "Tank!" until the slow part. The intermission feels like a completely different song and puts you in a different mood route but I do like how it builds back up while bringing the main tune back into the mix, especially the final transition.
It's rare that an anime really blows me away. I cannot say enough good things about it. Reminds me of watching Berserk '97 or Samurai Champloo of the first time. This is something special.

I never even knew an amazing anime like this existed. Came across a video called "Meanwhile in America" with over 18M views and decided to give this anime a try. Just finished watching it AND I SWEAR TO GOD IT WAS SO FUCKIN WORTH IT! The amount of plot twists and even the drama but most of all Laurent- I freaking love that guy lmfao This anime was just insane. Easily my top 1 anime from now on. I wish more ppl give it a try.

She wanted me to call someone to change it instead of just making me do it (she didn't trust my skills). She gave me money to pay whoever changed it, and told me I'd keep part of the money. I changed it myself and kept all of the money she gave me. Both my parents were accomplices. Makoto Edamura would be proud.
