J’Zargo is definitely humorous, this mod just makes him out to be a boring mage.
At first when he said, "hello, my name is Inigo" I was expecting him to add, "you killed my father, prepare to die!"
This is the kind of shit that makes all kinds of traveling companions in a game feel ALIVE, even though it comes off a bit like Inigo is a real person talking to a chatbot sometimes.

Fun Fact: when jzargo says "you what?but how could you run out?jzargo gave you more than enough" its a special line jzargo says when you are given the quest with the scrolls jzargo created and if you drop all in the floor then talk again to jzargo he says that line

The way Inigo has, not just dialogue with them, but different dynamics with in-game characters is genius. While we joke about Bethesda only hiring a few voice actors, it is unironically cool how modders are able to splice up the in-game dialogue and add more depth into follower interactions
And there's also all the unused lines that seem to be in the code. Makes for great modding opportunities.

I wish Bethesda realized that having followers interact with each other was a fantastic idea before the release of fallout 4
I know, right? One of the reasons why I loved all of the Dragon Age games. Even the first and second ones had such great banter between all of the followers. I wish Bethesda had done that, too. I wish we could get banter like that in the next Elder Scrolls. I've always wanted to be a writer for video games like that to be able to write banter and such for them.

I love how he always tries to be kind to other companions and has friendly banter with them, but also occasionally seems to be irritated or offended by them.

I found J'zargo is actually very good with a sword and shield as well as a bow, just as good as he is with spells, get him in daedric armour and you got a machine right there.
I think Inigo has a sweet roll addiction 😂😂😂

don't mind me bookmarking the start of my favorite interaction yet--
There are a lot of mods for Skyrim, and a lot that I've tried. There's plenty I like. But the ONLY mod I can't imagine playing the game without, is INIGO.
It's become an absolute must for me.

I didn't give J'Zargo enough credit in the past till I gave him some Daedric armor and a few Daedric artifacts. The guy is a BEAST, while looking like a bad-ass Mongolian warrior (gave him a silver dark circlet, not a helmet). I underestimated his abilities with enchanted Daedric armor and artifacts. Quite a tanker for a mage... I was able to level all of my magic and thief skills fast with him. I would love for Switch to let me download Indigo. I beat he is just as awesome in battle.

Okay so I've sunk in over a thousand hours and I've never seen that first dialogue with the blue khajiit. What quest is it from😩
It's immediately following the misc. quest where you test J'zargo's flame scrolls for him, and he becomes available as a follower. To hear it, I believe you need to have Inigo traveling with you BEFORE you recruit J'zargo, if I'm not mistaken.

It's part of the Inigo mod. He should talk with other followers all on his own, as long as no other mods are being used to control him. Currently he can talk with Kharjo, Lydia, J'zargo, Eric, and Mjoll.
@@MangustificationGaming Oh I see, for some reason I never knew that. Maybe because I tend to forego vanilla companions since I started using the much better modded ones lol. I'll have to try having Inigo and a vanilla companion together and see for myself. Thanks for letting me know!

Yes, Skyrim is a meme for how long it's been out and been rereleased, but there's no denying the love that people have put into the game with mods.

Yes. Gary, aka Smartbluecat, is very good at using them to work in Inigo's favor. :)

Without a doubt. One of the beauties of having so few voice actors for so many different characters lol

Is J'Zargo supposed to say words "I" and "me"? I thought these are the words only such characters as Inigo are supposed to use, khajiits are usually referring to themselves like "this khajiit" or by name.
I mean, the last time I played Skyrim was a few years ago, but I remember J'Zargo followed this rule perfectly. I know it is mod, I know Inigo is supposed to talk in first person as a unique khajiit, but the fact it makes other khajiit speak like they are lacking their racial quirk is disturbing. Is it supposed to be this way?
I love how the end of each conversation they both tend to look directly at the camera like a Deadpool 4th wall break. It's like they're looking at you with that "What's your problem?" or "Do you mind?

Who are the other khajit followers you have there? Are they mod or vanilla?
I also have Kharjo, a vanilla character who becomes available as a follower when you get his stolen amulet back for him. Then there's Zayla Hammustahe from the mod "Dominion's More Khajiit" who you'll find working as a bard at the Dragon Bridge inn. That particular mod should be available on PC, Xbox One, AND PS4. :)

I like Inigo's interaction with J'zargo more than Kharjo. J'zargo's lines fits more with his personality imo than Kharjo's.
Aghhaaa why is my inigo so quite all the time , he barely talks to any npc. I haven't said him to be quite either ... I purposefully took jzargo and inigo to hear their convo but i only heard one (something about reflection on water)
I like J'zargo, but he died when he accompanied me on expedition to Mzulft. Falmers cut him to pieces 😭
I think it's awesome that Oblivion lines were reused just for these immersive Inigo and J'zargo conversations.
J'Zargo reminds me of Puss in Shrek 2 and Puss in Boots, either because of his accent or his personality or anything else really, I can't quite tell, still, he reminds me of Puss all the same, sometimes.
I won't ply on Special Edition, but these interactions are very exciting. Would see more interactions in TES 6 too.

I just noticed, Inigo is the only kahjiit that I know of that doesn't speak in the third person. Besides the dragonborn if you choose the kahjiit race.

Part of the Inigo mod specifically. It's clever re-use of the dialogue from various vanilla male khajiit characters, but it works and makes sense because they all use the same voice actor, and thus sound the same. Smartbluecat does something similar with Kharjo as well. Vanilla characters have an otherwise extremely limited ability to talk to each other. The Inigo mod makes them all seem more alive and real. Pure genius on the part of Smartbluecat.
@Mangustification sounds great, i play on PS5 which only has a limited amount of mods. Developers should put more focus on npc interaction because it adds so much to the overall immersion. I hate it when characters are around you and it's completely silent 😕
Who wrote the script for Inigo? I love it. Would it work with Anniversary edition?
