for scientist i imagined a woman. all my science teachers through school were women (same with art and most other subjects) and when you said construction worker i pictured a fat guy(triggered, body shaming imaginary people) in a hard hat.

I visualized a MALE art teacher right away because that is all I have seen. Same with a nurse.

I think that both play a part but nurture plays a bigger part

Nurture is lesser acording to some studies, nature plays a bigger role than you may think

The only reason I visualized a female as an art teach is because that's all I've seen, I've never had a male art teacher and I've never met one, I visualized a male a construction worker manager because again that's all I've seen, it's not some bullshit gender stereotype, it's a reality same thing with the nurse all they I can easily also visualize a male nurse because even though I've seen very few, I have seen some at least. Although of course your gender or sex doesn't determine what field you can go into, it just happens that men and women tend to like certain fields. Also with the scientist I visualized a lab coat because there is equal representation of the sexes in science to me so my brain doesn't go one way or the other. My and my sister and my cousins were all exposed to both sexes toys and we were all exposed to gender neutral toys as well but generally the boys went for boy typical things and the girls went for girl typical things although I generally played with both equally I was the only exception.

I generally don't like women.. I feel that in whichever part of the world they've been given a lot of freedom, they take that freedom too far.. Honestly, I never started off as being gender biased but now I have become over the years..

you've missed the point. Your experience serves as a perfect good example of how gender plays an important role in occupation and social expectation. The real question is why all art teachers you've ever seen are female and construction worker manager male.
