Yes - I went to both Koreas: North Korea AND South Korea. Not many people do that. But I did. And for the first time ever...I want to show you what I learned.

as a south korean, i really feel bad for the people suffering under the regime up north. reunification would be great for all of us, but until then, the 75 million koreans are all living under the threats of war. hopefully things change soon

I am from Northeast India(Manipur) and we suffer a Religious,caste clash within a state.
It's not because of the leader. Chinese, pakistani and other agencies have been doing operations to destabilize northeast since decades.

This is actually why North Korea restricts all sorts of religions like buddhism or christianity, because their teachings are so opposed from what is taught in many religions, peace and love. Kim Jeong un is the only god there, even worshipped and considered a supreme being to those of normal people in North Korea.
If an ideology is moral then separation from an immoral ideology is neccesary.iam sure if north korea conquered South Korea no one would like that type of unity

If democracy is done right (like in switzerland) it is much better than a dictatorship.
Democracy just means majority rules as far as i know.the systems used to install that aren't called democratic systems or something like that.if the systems are good then the democratic country will also function in a good way but it's not necessary.democracy in of itself isn't neccesarily good but the way you install the government or society with a democratic spin makes a society better.
It's the opposite in India, the 🤣🤣🤣🤣so-called world's largest democracy.

I can definetly relate to this because I went to South Korea, it was fun and went to like many events while when I look at North Korea in this video it all just seems sad, boring, deppresing, lonely and icolated, which is why I will never go to North Korea never even step a foot on. I just hope that the people of North Korea will get a chance to escape and take a look into the outside world.

Its kinda sad that North Korea used to be richer than South Korea, then two leaders made some descision and it became broke. But now South Korea is the past North Korea and North Korea is the past South Korea.

Eh not that really accurate. I watched SK's economy reality that even middle class family, small to medium business owners is considered poor, the country practically controlled by chaebols which makes it NK with extra steps just like the US. What makes it different to NK is the carrot and stick called "freedom".

Actually what separates the Koreas are the influences from superpowers. South Korea got United States.. North Korea got Soviet Union. And you can see the difference. I wonder why you didn’t bring this up?

Yeah, when your leader has completely and total control with no accountability (i.e. a Communist dictatorship) your leader has a massive impact on your life.
In a democratic society, at least the representatives do not have unquestionable control over everything. They're held to the same laws as everyone else, generally and the people elect representatives to have their will be heard by their elected officials and their lives are impacted relatively minimally by their elected officials.
North Korea and South Korea are perfect examples of communism versus capitalism. Authoritarianism never works out well for the people that aren't in control.

After the war though we were a Capitalist country with democracy in theory, ppl suffered the military dictatorship of President Chun and Roh. THEY did not open the country! WE did. They were not that different to the Kim in North! It was the PEOPLE who fought for democracy and SO many ppl died for it.

Germany was divided 40 years. After 30 years of reunification, german people are still divided without border. I think Korea was divided too long that they cannot reunite easily. 😢
