    This is a great camera, I love mine, and your videos have really helped me get my head around setting it up correctly. It is also a pretty good photography camera (minus the lack of a view finder). For the price plus a Sigma 1.4 30mm lens it is awesome!

    This seems like a good fit for filming and shooting my indoor gardening. Do you think this with the kit lens and some extention tubes would be good for an intro to plant macro photography for someone with little experience. Have only shot with my s23 ultra camera

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello. The camera will be great. The kit lens is not the best lens. All brands have the kit lens as an average lens. It's ok, you can do great things at the beginning, practice and learn how to use it but in time if you want more you can invest in a 1.4 - 2.8 macro lens and really upgrade the setup. For the start it's good and for the camera I have many tutorials about how to use it for video if you need :)

    Thank you. A very informative video. Would you buy this camera for podcasting (maybe 3 of them)? I'm asking because of the overheating you mentioned. If so, only with the dummy battery and a tweak in settings?

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hello! Personally I will use it for podcasts but as you said: dummy battery, the right settings, the screen opened, and avoid high temperatures in the room. But keep in mind that Joe Rogan and many more big podcasters se just FHD and if you shoot FHD you wont have problems. I think you can do 4k podcasts with it if you use dummy and the right settings. Thank you!

    • @MMACoach79
      @MMACoach79 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@GabrielVIP Thank you for the reply. I also thought about using it in Full HD. So then there will be no overheating problems? Only in 4K? In Full HD I can power it with a USB cable indefinitely?
      Joe Rogan uses camcorders only and has the most viewed podcast in the world. Quality content trumps image quality.

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      In FHD you wont have problems but charging with USB is a bad thing all the time. If you charge the camer with USB it will get hot even if it's turned off 😂 Ise a dummy and you are good to go :)

      Hello. I use 16mm f1.4. Sometimes, if I need to shoot something super small and I need zoom I use 18-135 f3.5-5.6 but you need to have a powerful light. But most of the time I keep the same 16mm.

      Hello. I don’t use a picture profile with my 8 bits camera. I just keep it off and it’s great. As for the lens, it really depends what you need. If your space is ok for 30mm it’s nice, if you need or like wide, go with 16mm. I can’t tell you because it really depends about your space.

    I have a lot of (high end) cameras, but the ZV-E10 is by far my most used. (all day zoom calls, podcast streaming, travel camera etc.). Honestly, the only thing that I wish it had was the Z-Batt (so that I could use the same as all my other Sony bodies)...and if I was really hard pressed, I'd like an EVF for when I use it for travel camera duties in hard sun light. But even that is a nice to have, but not a must. When they do come up with a Mark II of this camera, I really hope they keep the size and weight of this as close as possible. LOVE the small form factor of this camera.

    This really should be every person's first camera when starting out and may be the only one ever needed.
    All the complaints about rolling shutter and lack og stabilization are ridiculous and unwarranted. No one ever films swinging a camera side to side for anything so its such a stupid test to judge by. And there's so many ways to get stable walking footage... gimbal. . software etc..

    I'm a little confused about overheating. I use my camera to send video signal to a recording platform like Riverside (cloud) or to OBS (on a PC). I never press record on the camera. Does that reduce the chance of overheating?

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey. A little bit, yes! The SD card also produce heat by storing the information. If you don’t store it, it’s better. If you set the Power option to high, use a dummy battery and open the screen, you are ok. I never had problems with it!

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello. I do 99% of the time video. For videos I don't need a flash so... I don't use one to recommend. But 100% you can buy an external flash (Godox has good ones but I don't have experience with them), and that will be more professional than a small flash that's on a camera by default. And if you don't need it, just detach it. If you want to have better image in low light without flash, try to use fast lenses with f1.4 or 2.8. I hope this will help :)
