I 💗 Larry June and now you know. DOPE classic tracks never die and I see sampling contributes to the longevity of the original track and it's a new artist taking their hat off to the original Artist. So it's all good 💗🎶✌🏽

Yup. All good. And I hope it never stops. Never heard the rap artist, but thanks to these guys nowadays reacting to the music of my youth. it's like experiencing them for the first time all over again. The rap was cool when I went to check it out too. Rose Royce was a whole mood. That whole band was just dreamy! "Car Wash" was cool too, but my favorite from them was "I'm going down."

JuneBaby01.😢 Fortunately for me being the youngest brother out of 10 children in the 70s, 80s then graduated high school to begin ADULT LIFE BUT.......MAN! I HAD SUCH A FIRM FOUNDATION. FAMILY, FRIENDS, COMMUNITY WAS SOCIAL MEDIA, RECREATION, RACIAL, SOCIAL, FAMILIAL, POLITICAL AND FINANCIAL DISCOVERY. PATHS INTO LIFE AND CAN POTENTIALLY LEAD YOU THROUGH LIFE IT YOU CHOOSE TO STAY STEADFAST. LOVE WAS A NOUN, AN ADVERB AND A VERB! MUSIC COULD BE THE "CRUST" OF YOUR PIE, OR A LAYER OF YOUR CAKE BUT WHEN IT'S RECOGNIZED AS A PRIMARY INGREDIENT THAT COMPLIMENTS WITH SWEETNESS, PLEASURE, TEXTURE, VITAMINS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL OILS AND INGREDIENTS THAT BUILD YOU UP "AS YOU SLEEP!" DREAMS BECAME POIGNANT, ATTAINABLE VISIONS WITH "REAL PREDECESSORS FOOTPRINTS. AND ALOT OF THEM WERE RIGHT FROM YOUR OWN HOUSE, BLOCK, SCHOOL, CHURCH, REC CENTER, PLAYGROUND, ROLLERSKATING RINK 🎵🎶😁🤪🥳. HOME.😂🎶✌️🤩

Yes Rhonda, the youngsters are humbled when they realize many artists of today borrow or sample tracks from artist work of the past.
Many rap and hip-hop artists cannot sing, they can't play an instrument, don't have any knowledge of music, melody, harmony, arrangement or composition. This is why the "music" of today is and sounds bad. Lots of younger people don't know what good music sounds like.

I would like to see your reactions to one of my favorite R&B group from the 70s Rose Royce.
    "wishing on a star"
    "angel in the sky"
    "love dont live her anymore"
    "ooh boy"
    "wonder were you are"
    "wanna get next to you"
    "I'm in love"

    Ain't Nothing... like the original..Song.
Just beautiful soothing lyrics..feel good music..No nasty profanity..vulgar lyrics..shameful what music today.. has become....todays Artist dont' have Nothing.. on the old school Artists...TRUTH BE TOLD..

Dang! This brings back sweet memories! When you at the old school basement parties all hugged so tight with someone, not even air can pass through! Good selection My G! Now could you react to Keith Washington, Kissing you! You will like it.

Whole soundtrack was just awesome. U should compare this with Teena Marie’s version.

Satori my G.....I truly wished u were borne in my year which is 1973. I remember disco and when rap first came out. People thought rap was a fad. That was a time when music meant something. RIP to oldschool.

That’s a Norman Whitfield classic production.
