Back to hear it again! I have now researched moors, and now know how they look, now know about cairns , tors and mires-- gentry,. yeoman,. gainsay, how yew trees look when allowed to grow unhindered. Masterful narration as always. Thank you so very much, Tony, for helping me with an admittedly, embarrassingly, much needed horion-broadening.
There’s a story about a body in a hollow tree. 2 kids find while trespassing I love some spooky Moor ghost stories I do believe it’s on his channel could be wrong maybe it was read by Warren from HB even know Warren is dead. 😅😂
Whenever I want to watch something familiar and comforting, I watch Basil Rathbones' renditions of Holmes for Universal Studios. To have this very favorite of mine read by Mr Walker is downright sublime! Thank you so much!!
I have reuploded it because when I processed all 5.5 hours of it last time the process inserted jittering noises every 2 minutes. That was a lot of jittering noises to take out on top of everything else. I hope everyone likes it.
This was just marvelous; a real treat and, at over five hours, a wonderful evening of entertainment. As usual, the book you read is nothing like the book I thought I read. Thank you!
I wish it were possible to set a timer to end the narration for these longer videos. I get bad dreams from sleeping while the narrative continues. I don't know if there is a way to change the available settings for the podcast. I mostly listen to episodes of an hour or less for this reason. I will just have to stay awake for this one!
So I’m sure you know Magpie Audio. Let me start with. Ii been with you from the start. So i know you will agree with what i say about !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHERLOCK HOLMS MAGPIE AUDIO . 😢 There is NOWONE IN THE WORLD OF STORY TELLING THAT CAN OUT PREFORM HIM. MISTER GREG IS SHERLOCK HOLMES.
Its weird ive just finished listening to @sherlock_holmes_magpie_audio version of hound of the baskervilles and now listening to yours, even though its the same story , because your voices are so different it like its fresh all over again .thank you ❤❤❤.

Me too! Those and David Suchet and Hugh Fraser's Poirot/Hastings on BBC are comforting and captivating. Thank you Tony ❤
There have been several wonderful portrayals, but Mr. Rathbone WAS Sherlock Holmes.
My favourite of all time!!! ❤
