I just installed my RWD1’s on my performance bagger 2020 RGS . I had the Legend Revo 12” prior and liked the performance aspect but the comfort level I was looking for wasn’t really available. Now I have comfort and performance. Glad I went this route.
Congrats on the new shocks! and Thank You for Watching 👍🏽 These are definitely a game changer for me personally. I had the legend Revo A’s before. Great shocks, but you immediately notice the comfort with the RS-1’s without even dialing them in.

Yes, these shocks are definitely a game changer. I wanted to try something new, and Russ Wernimont came through with some amazing rear shocks.

I did the rear shocks on mine, it was a HUGE difference!! Wife LOVES the new ride, as the stock was just BRUTAL! How does your passenger like that Lucky Daves seat?? I am trying to find an aggressive riders seat, but still gives some comfort to "The Hammer"...
Definitely! These were a huge improvement. My Ol’Lady loves them along with the Lucky Dave’s Seat. Style and Comfort

That’s awesome! And Thank You. I initially set them all the way to the left, but after the first ride I set it about 4 clicks to the right. And when I’m touring with all the gear, I set it a little higher.

Absolutely! And they should be releasing the Touring RS-1F Front Suspension on August 22 🤟🏽 Hopefully I get my hands on those.
I have the 14” Factory 47 Signature Bars. These came on the bike as part of my deal with Harley

@@RAIDERWORLDI had the RS-1 installed on my 2020 RGS through my mechanic and the 1/2" was made at the shop when picking it up. My question is this I'm heading to Sturgis this year with a king tour pack with luggage rack etc. How do I make the adjustment for the extra weight, is that done with the black know or turning the shock like you show in your video. Thanks David A

@@davida428 that’s awesome! How do they feel so far? I would adjust the pre load by twisting the spring. The knob is more for rebound.

Any suggestions for front suspension that would complement the shocks? Legends without a res are a grand..bang for buck here
Russ Wernimont should be in stock soon on front suspension. They put into production the RWD RS-1F Touring front shocks, and should be in stock soon. But you could also complete this setup with Legends front shocks. Legends are also a great brand
Hey on the left side of the bike when tightening the bottom bolt of the shock. How did you get the bracket to stay put without moving when you were tightening it
I just held some pressure on it with one hand and slowly tightened it down. Hope this helps

Absolutely! I still need to do an after a year review on these. I’m currently waiting on the Front Suspension from Russ Wernimont to arrive in the mail, so Look out for that video

Absolutely! I don’t think I’ll ever switch from these. I’ve ridden with other suspension before, but these top them all.

@@abdallahmoussa1983 I’ve actually never ridden with ohlins. Everyone being on the ohlins train reminds me of the Toe-Shoes everyone was wearing for a while lol. All I can say, is that you wouldn’t be disappointed with the RWD shocks 👍🏽
So how are the shocks after some miles ?
I definitely love these shocks! Only mistake I made was not setting the sag for the correct weight on a long trip with a lot of gear. Bottomed out one good time, but that was an Easy fix though

Absolutely! Best decision I’ve made. I’ve ran almost every suspension out there, and these are by far my favorite. I also added them to the new project I have going on

@@russellparker3887 I would call them directly. They will build out your shocks for your desired weight and riding style. They’ll get you diled in 👍🏽
How long have these been on the market? I was thinking about breaking the bank and getting Legend air suspension. Are these the next best thing from Legend Suspension? I have a 2010 Limited FLHTK Harley-Davidson. With 2 rides total weight 350 can I stick with stand and not HD ?
Not that long, maybe a couple years. They specialize in off road racing, but just started making stuff for the Harley Market. I’ve ridden with legends, progressives, all good shocks. These shocks are definitely a game changer! I wanted to try something new, and I’m glad I did 👍🏽
With me and my O’lady, we’re about that same weight. I went with the standard. We did a road trip about 2 months ago with about 100 pounds more of weight, so almost 460 pounds and these worked flawlessly. Hope this helps!

@@RAIDERWORLD Currently have my Harley tore down in my sons garage, putting a S&S 110 BigBore kit in it. Doing many upgrades during the current winter project, going to make a TH-cam video after all complete [ Hopefully] I got a deal on a video camera, but need to figure it out on the format way to upload to TH-cam without an error.

Right away I felt the difference, especially riding 2-UP. I live around a few train tracks and dirt roads and these rebound flawlessly 👍🏽
