Man that captain looks so damn happy explaining the capabilities of the Hawk, and for good reason, a capacity of 800,000T down to a little over 100,000T submerged, that's insane and the complex ballast controls to boot
I can imagine those cranes are working well under limits given that they're also working on such extreme angles. You wouldn't want to push it too close to the weight limit unless the whole rig is level, so that would have delayed the loading of the compressors as well
Why would they transport this rig with oil and fuel still in it. These people are all very smart. You would think the vessel would be drained of all hazardous material before its towed.
Why did it have fuel on board if it was at the end of the road for it?tank could have been full of water and not a tank of pollution if ballast was required.seems dumb to me.
Like how they tried to minimize the fuel lose by listing it at 53 cubic metters.. Sounds like a small lose till you convert that to the 14001 gallons...

It’s simple you fill the cargo with AIR AND THE SHIP YOU COME UNDER A CONTROL submerged

That's only 10,761,568 teaspoons worth of diesel. Thanks.
And in scientific modern easy units 53000 Liters. 🙂
