I found John Lloyd Young in November 2017 on TH-cam singing Unchained Melody and it took off from there! Three months later I found myself in Las Vegas for my first live show!! He is just awesome, I love his shows , I with my family have followed him across the US and back again!! He was wonderful in the Play ( I didn't see it) but now he is soooo much better! and real nice guy that loves his fans, If you can ever do yourself a favor and go see his live show/concert!!!!

I was obsessed with John Lloyd’s story back in ‘04 when it unfolded. He’s an amazingly talented young man who had a tough, challenging family journey to get to being a Broadway actor. A family Loving and supporting but with a military dad who couldn’t see the Theatre as a viable profession. The commitment he made to the role, literally brought Frankie Valli onto the stage every night...this involved A great deal of sacrifice on Johns’ part. IMHO there are some stage roles that are never duplicated, this was one of them. He walked away as the only actor to have received 4 Broadway Awards for his performance! He’s become a singer and stays mostly in LA.....has a huge fan base as result of the success of JB.....don’t know if would have become a great actor if he’d continued on Broadway...because his looks became typed as Frankie. I don’t think the movie was as good as the musical...He is also an artist and his beaded originals sell for large amounts. I believe he’s a part of that world in LA and I doubt he will return to the stage. Kudos to you John Lloyd for leaving such a wonderful accomplished legacy to this world!
