The egress was spectacular to watch; dropping from your hover point down the ravine like a ball down a chute, pulling up to level over the water and away. That's Magnum PI's opening credits right there.
lately i realy prefer the laser guided missieles yesterday i had to hit a t90 with 4 pars from the Tiger to take him out .. first one got his engine some how second took the track third was absorbt bei Putin and the 4th finaly did the job >.>

It sucks because russian missiles are litteral UFOs while Hellfires work like its the 1960s. This is why I dont grind out top tier. Its all just russian ministry of defence propaganda at that point. I just keep to 8.0 and avoid it.
Like I get how this is how Attack Helicopters realistically deploy, but man it's so freaking cheesy in WT multiplayer. There's barely any counters to helos sitting miles away from the battlefield behind your spawn. They really didn't think about how that affects gameplay and they still ignore the massive tip in the balance.

Hello Hunter. I just bought the Ka-50 to start grinding choppers. Can you explain why do you set countermeasures as you do and how do you think is the best way to use them? I read somewhere that choppers only need chaff, do you agree? Thank you in advance!
Hello my friend, countermeasures on choppers are not really effective, chaff works good vs Fox 1 missiles like Sparrow, it doesn't work effectively vs radar guided missiles SPAA and spamming flares helps defending against IR heat-seeker missiles coming from other choppers.

Hello my friend, both final choppers are great but I always liked the "Mil" helicopters over "Kamov" ones, the best way to grind in your situation is to make people suffer in Heli EC mode using your overpowered Vikhr missiles against enemy choppers haha. Good luck my friend :)

Somua is foolproof, it has quick reloading gun (4s if i'm not mistaken), good armor (aside from the turret, people would mistake you with Lorraine/AMX-50 so no worries), good mobility and great firepower (100mm instead of the 75mm used by AMX-13). Minus is you don't get the ATGM

Hello my friend, I think Khriz is better vs tanks due to high TNT equivalent and 1200mm pen but the amount is limited to 8 max. Relatively Vikhr still is the best choice I guess.
The radar will give you the same beam riding lock with Russian choppers or the laser lock with Apache Longbow, so in short spamming radar lock on button will help you to detect a target maybe you didn't pay attention to, also I remember sometimes the Apache Longbow radar was detecting and locking on targets hiding behind a tree or a bush but that's rare.
I was hoping you could do the khrizentima thing. Fire one with radar lock through smoke, and the other you guiding it with mouse you can engage 2 targets at same instant. :)

@Chirik I've managed to grinded out mi-24A within a week by playing mi-4 in ground assault mode. All you need is to get loads of assist and getting a kill is a bonus. I did this in May 2021. I don't know how the ground assualt is right now.

It was facing his vehicle to the enemy half of the map, we have BMP-2 in the team scoreboard and also I checked the map, there was a light tank symbol at that location and that's why I didn't take the shot.

Hello my friend, IRCM is an infrared countermeasure, a device designed to protect aircraft from infrared homing ("heat seeking") missiles by confusing the missiles' infrared guidance system so that they miss their target, it is not a warning system. Some choppers have RWR, a "Radar Warning Receiver" which gives a warning if there was a radar lock on your helicopter and the most modern choppers in the game have MAW, the one you are talking about, MAW stands for Missile Approach Warning system.
That BMP was friendly, the name wasn't rendered, at 8:20 I showed the scoreboard and we have a BMP in the team, at 8:29 he fired a missile and killed an enemy Leo 2A4 three seconds later.
Hello my friend, I know it is mixed but I don't think he was enemy, names are not rendering sometimes after "Ground Breaking", also he was facing the enemy side and there was a friendly light tank symbol in map at that position, I just didn't want to risk it.
Can't you use the radar to lock ground targets with it ? I'd love to see use it with the radar lock. I think that I may start playing the USSR if the radar lock on the Mi-28NM works well enough. I'm not certain the USSR really needed tis helicopter though, especially when looking at the state of other helicopters at the same BR such as the Apaches (execept the Bri'ish one) and ESPECIALLY the Tiger HAD. Glad to see you playing it though. Would you mind making more content with it ? EDIT 1 : I'm actually in this video, lol. "totolescargo" in the leaderboard, on your team. I was busy writing a bug report on the forums so I died twice then left the game ... What a shame.
It works like Longbow Apache radar, it will bring you targets you maybe didn't pay attention to but not in such maps where all friendly and enemy units in the same location. Also I always felt Russian air radars are better than Longbow in locking on the aerial targets.

This heli is better than the ka52 imo due to its maneuverability and the fact that it can carry vikirs.
Ka52 is literally vikhr choppee. And also more agile due to twin rotor system.

Buy 300 dollars worth of GE or lose your sanity playing heli ec. Gaijin gives you the choice.

The most of them unlocked in Heli EC and Ground RB slowly since the first day of Valkyries update and I got few free ones after joining Gaijin partnership program as well.

Hello my friend, IRCM is an infrared countermeasure, a device designed to protect aircraft from infrared homing ("heat seeking") missiles by confusing the missiles' infrared guidance system so that they miss their target, it is not a warning system. Some choppers have RWR, a "Radar Warning Receiver" which gives a warning if there was a radar lock on your helicopter and the most modern choppers in the game have MAW, the one you are talking about, MAW stands for Missile Approach Warning system.

That BMP was friendly, the name wasn't rendered, at 8:20 I showed the scoreboard and we have a BMP in the team, at 8:29 he fired a missile and killed an enemy Leo 2A4 three seconds later.

Hello my friend, I know it is mixed but I don't think he was enemy, names are not rendering sometimes after "Ground Breaking", also he was facing the enemy side and there was a friendly light tank symbol in map at that position, I just didn't want to risk it.

I re watched the video, check at 8:29 he will launch a missile and three seconds later he will get a kill, check the kill-feed.

Can't you use the radar to lock ground targets with it ? I'd love to see use it with the radar lock. I think that I may start playing the USSR if the radar lock on the Mi-28NM works well enough.
I'm not certain the USSR really needed tis helicopter though, especially when looking at the state of other helicopters at the same BR such as the Apaches (execept the Bri'ish one) and ESPECIALLY the Tiger HAD.

It works like Longbow Apache radar, it will bring you targets you maybe didn't pay attention to but not in such maps where all friendly and enemy units in the same location. Also I always felt Russian air radars are better than Longbow in locking on the aerial targets.
