I love the colour of the train and the whistle sounds so cute, Beaitufl scenery and the magical snow.. 4 minutes late in such conditions is amazing.. Here in England the trains run late most days for no reason, i gave up on public transport and i live 20 miles from the nearest train station..

I've ridden on this line from Nagano to Togari-NozawaOnsen before the Shinkansen opened in Iiyama. Lovely view even in that route. And skiing in Nozawa Onsen is awesome 🙂

I have to admit that upon reading that the railway service was suspended due to snowfall I was a little sceptical (because where I come from, trains are being suspended after 3 snowflakes). But then... there was Morimiyanohara... Holy Bob!

if you want to bobsled - come to Calgary 🇨🇦 you can experience bobsledding at the Olympic park from 1988 Winter Games - I hear it’s a great experience 🤣😂

It's a route that runs through an area that even the Japanese aren't very familiar with, but it's got a lot of snow and a lot of charm!
