@@santiagonunez6294 I'm not an accountant, but I don't think there's a way to avoid the taxable event until it's officially recognised as a currency (the foreign currency status in El Salvador might qualify though). Worst case, I believe that there's SW that makes calculating the tax simple.

Haven’t finish watching the video but just wanted to comment, I am trying to save for at least 1 btc I hope it goes down but I don’t think so 😅 did buy some eth tho but did sell a couple trying get Bck to almost 5 eth fuck the dollar !!!! And I was born into poverty
Stay away from eth and stick with bitcoin

@@JakeGosselinTH-cam Just because you believe bitcoin won't end, doesn't mean it's a good investment. Imagine if you bought gold in the 80s because you were worried about banks and inflation. You'd be much worse off compared to if you invested in companies and real estate. History has a way of repeating itself. Bitcoin is nothing more than tulip mania all over again. The only way bitcoin is a worthwhile investment is if the US dollar or banking system completely collapses. Do you really see that happening within your lifetime?

Many people refuse to understand this because they took profits from this system.
Let alone all people who took a loan to buy or build a house.
