Just obeying orders. Is this what the police do with their publicly paid time? Harass a sick man for no crime. How do they explain this to their family when they see it? “Just doing my job”. Get another job if you can’t behave honourably in this one.
What’s not acceptable is thinking that government has the right to not be held accountable because this would allow partisan politics to ooze in, like sepsis in a wound, and regulate out any ideas that the elites find threatening. That’s how we’ve keep ourselves free, by exercising our constitutional rights through America’s most sacred document, the Constitution.
Every American must devote a reasonable share of their time to doing their duty in the Political life of the community. No American has a right to shirk their political duties under whatever plea of pleasure or business. Freedom is not a gift that tarries long in the hands of cowards: nor yet does it tarry long in the hands of the sluggard and the idler, in the hands of the man so much absorbed in the pursuit of pleasure or in the pursuit of gain, or so much wrapped up in his own easy home life as to be unable to take his part in the rough struggle with his fellow men for political supremacy.

The United States is a sovereign nation. Sovereignty is a simple idea: the United States is an independent nation, governed by the American people, that controls its own affairs. The American people adopted the Constitution and created the government. They elect their representatives and make their own laws. The Founding Fathers understood that if America does not have sovereignty, it does not have independence. If a foreign power can tell America “what we shall do, and what we shall not do,” George Washington once wrote to Alexander Hamilton, “we have Independence yet to seek, and have contended hitherto for very little.” The Founders believed in sovereignty. In 1776, they fought for it.
The schools where these cops went to need shut down because they clearly failed to teach because a council meeting isn't using the whole building does things like this have to do with the school shootings when kids find out how they've been taught wrong then snap over it
Is ignorance of the laws an excuse for acts by officials that violate our constitutional rights? They are to follow the letter of the law, (as they are sworn to do), this places officials who involve themselves in such unlawful acts in an unfavorable legal situation. For it is a felony and federal crime to violate or deprive citizens of their constitutionally protected rights. Public servants are just that - servants of the people. The framers of the U. S. Constitution included the requirement to take an Oath of Office in the Constitution itself.
Public service is a public trust, requiring you to place loyalty to the United States Constitution. The Constitution does not give us our rights it protects our rights. We the people delegated limited power to the government to protect our rights. The purpose of government is to secure the people’s rights. Many ethics violations occur when people are unaware or ignorant of the law as it pertains to their position. Of course, ethics is more complex than just following the rules. Laws can't cover everything. And some have loopholes. An action doesn't have to be illegal to be unethical.
Take note on how many empty chairs the place has, they are not empty because people refuse to go to the meeting. They are empty because people are tired of getting kicked out and getting their rights violated. And this is what the government wants, and that is for people not to stand up for their rights.
You need to understand that there is no such thing when it comes to the american people a constitutional right doesn't exist. Our rights are unalienable inherent at birth they're given to us by our creator they're not given to us by the constitution. We don't have constitutional rights we have inherent rights there's a big difference. A constitutional right by definition when you give it that context would be the rights and powers and authorities that we grant to government. The constitution was created to limit their power and authority not ours. When they refuse to operate within the boundaries of that authority that's where you and I have the inherent right to take them to task and hold them accountable for what they do.
This council should be ashamed of themselves. How can they think continuing to be on the board benefits the community. They are ineffective. If they truly cared about the community, they would all resign.
People living in small cities and towns have to put up this kind of treatment from their elected officials is wrong, what happened to the America we all love and celebrate. It's gone forever because freedom belongs to the powerful not the people.
@@Justicehunter1971 Having a life and better things to do with your time than attend to politics does not make you unfit to live in said community. Where did you get that from? I personally think that Politics is not fun.
The public servant will have perjured their oath, invoked the self-executing Sections 3 and 4 of the 14th Amendment vacated their office and forfeited all benefits of that former office including salary and pensions if they do not follow the law of the land. Present and future actions by the those public servants and the courts must be conducted pursuant to the Constitutions, federal and state. There is no lawful method for government to put restrictions or limitations on rights belonging to the people.
18 U.S.C. § 241 is a federal law that prohibits two or more people from conspiring to injure, threaten, or intimidate someone in the United States in the free exercise of their rights or privileges, because of their having exercised their rights or privileges. 241 is also used in law enforcement misconduct and hate crime prosecutions. 😂🙉🙈🙊
If a state legislator, judge or a superior tells a Police Officer to proceed and enforce a contradictory (illegal) state law rather than the Supreme Law of this country, what is that "sworn Officer to do? Although we may not want to hear it there is but one right answer "the Officer is duty bound to up- hold their oath of office" and obey the highest laws of the nation the US Constitution. THIS IS THEIR SWORN DUTY AND IT IS THE LAW! Such a strong honest stand taken by a Police Officer, up- holding his or her oath of office, takes moral strength of character. It will, without question, "SEPARATE THE MEN FROM THE BOYS. Such honest and straightforward decisions on behalf of a government official have often caused pres- sure to be applied to force such officers to set aside, or com- promise, their morals or convictions. As a solace for those brave souls in uniform that will stand up for law and justice, even when it's unpopular, or uncomfortable to do so...let me say this: In any legal stand-off over a sworn of ficial "violating" or "upholding their cath of office, those that would side with the "violation should inevitably lose.
What happens when you think something is not Constitutional and I think something is Constitutional? Is there a mechanism or procedure for that to determine who is correct?
How did so many Americans not learn about the law of the land in their K-12 educations? Such profound ignorance didn’t just spring fully formed from some political forehead. It has been reinforced. People have already been herded. It is obvious it has been taught to them by indifferent parents, by a corrosive entertainment/media culture, and others who have influence.
