Excellent run through on products, purposes, and availability. Really well thought out and presented. It’s wonderful to see someone finally take advantage of the desire for these types of soils, debris, wood, and creatures and make a business out of it! For those of us that want to create these mini ecosystems but don’t know how find all the right debris, thank you. Wish you were in Canada!
I don't know where you got your information about carpet chameleons living on the ground but they are arboreal animals in Madagascar and they don't live on the ground.
Love it! If I was a carpet chameleon I'm pretty sure I would feel ultimately pimped out! By the way I'm pretty sure the Miner-All is pronounced mineral you know, like mineral.
Hey John. We sell them at The BioDude Houston! If you are not local, most pet stores would have them. If they don't have that size, they might be able to order it for you.
In a heavily decorated and large enough enclosure a cohabitation for this species is fine. I recommend to provide multiple everything (feed stations, basking areas, copious branching, etc)
@@TheBioDudeJoshHalter I would guess that none of the leading chameleon experts would agree with you that either one of those enclosures is large enough to house a pair of chameleons.
I’m getting the same kind of tank (Exo Terra Reptile Glass Natural Medium X-Tall Terrarium 24"x 18"x 36") for a created gecko what kit do I need to buy ?
Where are you located? I built a 5' tall 3'x3' wood and screen enclosure.. I built it for my old veiled. He was my first and last. The day I finally finished and brought home the cage I found him dead. He lived 6 yrs and I was stupid and inexperienced so I spent tons of money buying bigger and bigger terrariums. Until I decided to just build a giant one. I would love to do it your way and not have to constantly clean and mess with everything. Also would really like to have live plants and a filtered fountain/ waterfall drip system plus misters. My problem is the design I made.. the top and bottom are all screen and the front 3 sides are screen, back 2 corner walls are wood. If looking at it from the top down, it would be a classic diamond shape 💎 so I geuss i would have to first, make a about 1' of the bottom encased in glass or maybe a lining of rubber or something.. I have nothing but the cage at this point as its been 12 yrs since I built it.. I will not buy another chameleon unless I have the set up cometely ready and going first.. also I live in wisconsin and chase to drive over an hour to go to a pet store that sells any sort of insert other than ice fishing bait.. ive had the cricket houses before but my veiled preferred eating anything that flew. If it went low he didn't usually bother with it
I like the end result but am confused. Surely if they are forest floor dwellers , a tall viv is the wrong shape? I know you know your stuff, so I’m not criticising, but if you could explain the choice it would help me greatly. Love your content .
You got a good channel just need to work on your eye contact with the camera its terrible lol makes me feel uncomfortable at times and I love eye contact but you always look to the right side instead of the camera!! Just some tips for making videos better ;)
Thank you Jason. I actually use two different cameras sometimes because I do FB live at times while filming - But it is something I will work on for sure! Thank you for the constructive criticism. : )
Great setup, good size for them and every corner is filled so they can climb a lot 👍🏼
Love the Fallout mini statues in the back!!

Working on it! We are applying for exportation certificates as I type this.

Great Upgrade (As usual)

Nice upgrade 👍👍👍

Great as always 👍
Keep up the good work💪
You should do a small tortoise setup
when did chameleons start drinking from a bowl ?
I am confused by that too.
👍👍 as always
Amazing setups! Also, can you make a bioactive Russian tortoise setup?
Wow where can I get tank that size to put crested geckos

@@TheBioDudeJoshHalter no in sc I haven't seen one but will ask pet store if they can thanks
Should they be housed together?

@@TheBioDudeJoshHalter thanks good to know! I'm just learning and keeping one is more than enough for me. :)

Hey josh I have a question: would your Terra fauna 6 qt bag be enough for a 18x18x24 crested gecko cage?
I used three bags and it worked great, that is what would recommend
For my 36x18x36 (double the floorspace) cresties cage I used almost 50qt of substrate... So no, you won't have enough.
Thank you
How much soil did you use in the new tank?
A little over 1-36qt Terra Firma
hey, for the 24x18x36 tank, how high is the section from the bottom to the vent below the doors? i am trying to make a paludarium
Update video on this tank?
Would this size enclosure be big enough for an adult ball Python ?
Your gonna want more of a horizontal cage rather than vertical for a python, exo terra has some.
DO A MOUNTAIN HORNED DRAGON ENCLOSURE PLEASE
are you going to be at repticon july 25
