    So I guess I live in the country? I live in Covington Ga. Which is Newton County. And my family lives in Butts County. I guess we some country folks😜😂

      No, I live in Newton County but the westside of the county (Salem Road) is fully suburban with alot of traffic. It's night and day compared to the Eastside. Now that's country.

    Crazy how Newton, Paulding, Walton and Spalding (?) aren't included but have a population over 100K, and is soldily suburban and is closer to downtown than Forsyth and Cherokee. Those 2 counties are 40-50 miles away from the city.

    Nice to see you Raymond! I love your channel! I am learning about Georgia from you! I really don't know the State that much. I bought a lovely house in Fayetteville. Waiting to retire from NY and live there permanently. Your channel is a PLUS especially to people who want to relocate to Georgia. Thank you.

    Watching this video taking notes. Planning to move there after school but I constantly hear about expensive rent prices and unsure of what city to move to first

    I’ll just stay in the Dunwoody area but other areas are nice like Brookhaven & Sandy Springs. I am a licensed realtor on DC, MD & VA and I’m in the process of getting my GA license. Stay north of the city a tad bit and you’ll be just fine.

    • @raymondrileyjr
      @raymondrileyjr  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I really despise the notion of “just stay north a tad bit”. What’s your recommendation based on, hear say or you’ve lived “everywhere” south of the metro .
      My advice to anyone looking to move to Metro Atlanta is to base your decision on: 1. what you want to have access to and 2. what feelings you get when you go to visit. You should not base your decision on prejudices created and perpetuated for decades and decades…
