    My original Peter's Honey (RIP) was started from a cutting, planted in-ground, and produced a nice crop starting its second year. It also gave a breba crop, but that was fairly small and not so tasty to me. You seem to have better luck with its brebas so far.
    Currently growing a small, barerooted Peter's Honey which got a late start in-ground. It did pop a single figlet last month though. Growing slowly for me but all signs are hopeful that I will get going and really start producing for me in the second year. Can't wait! This variety has been a great one in my climate/zone.

    I’d like to get a Peter’s Honey 🍯 next year. On the 2024 cutting list!

    I wanted to order a Peters Honey from Whiffletree Farm but they sold out before I could. I ordered a Chicago Hardy this spring and I am so impressed i have so many figs growing on a bare root that I potted this spring! Next year I will make sure I get a Peters Honey ordered! Thanks for the video😊❤

    My PH is planted inground and it gets a ton of breba. The breba is double the size of the main crop. I try to keep all my fig trees small but its hard to do with this tree as I want to get as many breba as possible the following year. The breba and main crop taste delicious!

    Hello, I find that Peter's hone is SO UNDER RATED FIG don't know why???? One of the only fig trees where the Breba is actually better than the main crop. And when planted in the ground much superior. All my opinion. Be well!

    It looked incredible inside! I have heard that Kadota might be the same variety as Peter's Honey do you know if that is the case? I have a Kadota, but it's still a young tree so not expecting much this year.

    None of my fig plants have figs. I bought an Italian fig from nursery and it has figs.

      You have to water them daily until they're full of fruit then cut back on the water and of course full sun

    What’s a breba?

    • @drea4195
      @drea4195 ปีที่แล้ว

      Figs often produce an early crop in the spring on last year's wood. Not all varieties though. That's a breba crop.
