When i do the solo sonce i write my own songs. I dont care about the pentatonic scales..dont know that..i iust match my solo to the melody ang gave it a twist..and it works
I had my fingers smashed a long time ago. If I gave up guitar then I wouldn’t have the mobility I have. But, I fear soloing because there were so many other guys around me that were VH fans copying him while I was just trying to keep loving the art.
I gotta start getting your TH-cam lessons. I can play a few chords , trying a minor on 5th string, c major scale. It just looks like you have to be obsessed to get it. You got a lot of knowledge!
Hey Bro, I have been playing for 1.5 years in 2 Bands and I am feeling what you are saying. I don't know what we are going to play from song to song. The Pastor might break out with what he is feeling and I got to find the Key off the E String and feel out the Progression on the fly. I dont know anything else and I am winging it at every song and I am challenged. I'm probably needing to just learn songs but at the moment I depend on music theory, Triads and 2 string mirroring sets to walk the fretboard harmony. Do you have aome excercises that allow you to work with this type of challenge? Thanks for your insight. I like your 2 patterns to get the 7 chord progression off 2 templates.
@@SolidBuildersInc thank you for your question, honestly I think you need more direct training. If you became a Kamper we can definitely help you get to the level that you desire in. You're playing check out my website. KerrysKamp.com

Thanks Kerry, I can relate. As a bassist and new guitarist, this will definitely help. I'd take it one step further by saying, know intervals.
Great advice Kerry!! I agree that recording yourself on video or with audio is a great tool to help with confidence. Love the content man!!
Great Soloing Nuggets, Thanks K2S, 1- 2 and 3
