I think those are technology too. Ziusudra’s Sin may be based on an aquatic mine, Girtablulu has that entire town on its back, and Susano’o uses a radio tower as a sword.
@@rain8412 I couldn't even beat the game due to it crashing at the fairy fight, but that becomes obvious fairly early if you go for the summoner job and the...I forgot the name, but it is basically a stronger summoner who summons the Seven Great Demon Lords. Those are just some of the biggest hints that the Celestial realm is more or less our world.
Core game content. A quick search found it's in the grandship engine room on floor B29. Hadn't played it in years, but do recall using the haunted ship summon at the time.
🫣 why i feeling so bad about this summoner. Did they summon monster from hell? The animation looks cool..but..did yall realize..all monster they summons just like from darkness. Lol
I remember when summoning spells used to be badass, and you could summon not only cool beasts and Dragons, but those things would help show that your world isn't completely shallow and revolves around the human race. In a pathetic attempt to be quote-unquote original, this game decided it would rather make all of its summons either giant machines or giant human, removing any idea that life is valuable except for those oh so innocent and misunderstood humans, which makes the summoning spells surprisingly cliche because that is what most media is doing these days.

The most interesting implementation of summons was 9 where they're basically just creatures or superweapons and 10 where they're humans anyway. How does having mechanical summons make anything uncreative?
