A wonderful lady messaged me on Facebook and asked if I could mow her elderly neighbors yard. So AP and my self loaded up the following Wednesday and headed that way. I am 72 and remember when the neighbors would come and help out needy folks. Neighbors wouldn't let things get this bad. GOD bless you.
In todays time you be sued for trespassing. 72 here as well. I remember when kids would come by the house with a push mower and a gallon can of gas. No weed eaters we cut around the house and trees with garden sheers.
All of the people that do lawn transformations are such a blessing. But the difference between you and everyone else doing this is that your videos are the very first ones I've ever seen. So you're the person that I watch the most. You're a good man my friend.🏡💖👏👏👏👏

Do you always look for ways to misunderstand? Put it in perspective. He does this because he's a good guy but also because it's excellent content for his channel. Yes. Seven hours in the sun is a lot but it's also what he does everyday. It's his job. So whether he's doing it for a paying customer or doing it as content for his channel it's the same. I'm talking about the sense of relief he gives people who otherwise stress about how awful their yards look and how something as small as a yard clean up and some simple human kindness can be a blessing.
This yard never had to get like this. It takes a community to help one another. Someone nearby should have stepped up to cut it. Very sweet of these guys to clean up the yard and a big thank you. Perhaps younger men watching your channel can learn from you!

Now a-days their is practically no Sence of community. I was I'll for months and couldn't do my lawn and although I generally did my neighbor's when I did mine, no one stepped up and helped when I needed it. Unfortunately, I now do mine only.
This took him 7 hours...with the ride on thing..no neighbour should be expected to do this every other week with a mower.There's also the taking away of clippings etc too.What is sad is that he perhaps didn't have family to care about it.

Ur probably gonna think I'm weird, but my favorite thing to watch u do is the edging of the driveways and the sidewalks and shoveling all the dirt and grass from it. I can't explain it myself but it just gives me a satisfaction to watch u transform them back to how their suppose to look. Thank you.

I live in a 60 + community and I'm the youngest guy on my block ( 66 years old) once every spring a I'll edge everyone's yards on my block and across the street. I'm a retired landscaper. Also our " spring and summer " only lasts about 4 months so it's not a big deal to do it once .

Yes - what you say is true and these hard working young men make a massive difference in how they present humanity as a whole, kind, loving AND diligent - they work so fast. I do wish though, that they had a little more finesse in how they go about showing their love for their work. They do work so hard and do such difficult jobs that really, really need what they offer . . . for FREE.

My dad owned his landscaping company for 25 years. He landscaped mostly in multi million dollar homes. It's good to see someone do something like this for their community.

Seven hours is a lot of time but also a lot of relief for the owner and neighborhood. Thank you two for doing it. I keep admiring the detail work you insist on doing, as the gutter weeds, removing the vining off the fences, etc. that all make for a really complete job. Hope some in the neighborhood now pick-up-the-ball and do the simple maintenance. Probably haven't gotten ice cream from a truck since I was a kid...Nutty Buddy Cones and the like. You guys took the place from Urban hay field back to a home.

Truly felt that was hopeless. A huge task you both took on. Just getting it mowed seemed like forever. Followed by the weed whipping and edging. My oh my, it looks delightfully better! Know the entire neighborhood appreciates that. Specially the young kids don't have to be afraid of what may come into their yards while playing. 👍👍♥️🌍♥️.

This brought tears to my eyes. About five years ago when I’m a neighbors who was very into taking care of his yard and mowing had suffered a massive stroke. So the lawn had gotten quite out of control. I personally knew how much he loved his lawn, so I had paid the Service that does my lawn to do their’s for two months. It was the best $150 I had ever spent. We are close friends now. God bless you for doing this 💕💕

Sad state of affairs...we used to be thankful for good neighbors. Now, we must be hopeful for random TH-camrs. The people who live in that neighborhood should be ashamed of themselves.
The neighborly thing to do is rally around and cut the grass. The family of the man would have appreciated it, especially if they had to sell the house. Come on, neighbors.
I agree. If I had a neighbor who couldn't cut their grass, I would just run my mower over it. How do you just stop at the "property line" and not cut theirs. It benefits everyone. Other neighbors could even help and take turns.
I have used a paid lawn service for ten years. When my neighbor could no longer do his, i paid my guy to do theirs. He got back on his feet and paid to shovel my snow.

Sad... use to have one come down our street when younger, and 6 kids lining up for a select ice-cream treat. Good ol' days.
My wife passed coming up on 2 years. It is amazing that no neighbors stepped up to help this person out. The reason we stayed in the neighborhood was everybody helped us out all the time and never had to ask. Shame on this person's neighbors. You are what we saw in our neighborhood keep up the great work.
I get that, in every community there is a few people who are helping, maybe not in ways that can be seen like this. Most communities just need that one person to get out there and be that inspiration like these guys.
We have experienced that sadness. Thank God, for folks like these guys.

My first thought when he said the neighbor sent a message & said her kids had to play next to that, It's really sad that NO ONE helped them out before it got so bad :( people will complain about it but never offer to help... There is no sense of community left in our society, otherwise they wouldn’t have let the yard get to that level. It’s all about “me, me, me” these days.
I’ve asked several people that in different areas. They either change the subject, redirect, lame ass excuse, or get snotty. Blows my mind. As an apartment dweller I have zero Lawn equipment. Watching videos like this have my friends and I inspired to reach out the same way and step up.

You're an amazing young man ! I want to thank you for all that you do. It's sad that all the neighbors didn't pitch in and help this family keep up with the yard work. But maybe because of what you have done they might keep up this yard. It will help themselves in the long run .
The message that you gave at the end was beautiful and yes I did call my aunt that I haven't talked to in awhile and it made us both happier. It costs nothing to share your love and I thank you for reminding us about that. You're truly a Great Man that makes a difference in this world that we share to live in. The real question is is why aren't all the lazy neighbors taking charge and just pushing their mower over to his yard....
That takes to much work and effort... People in here in the US are too lazy for that. Even those that are jobless, some think yard work is beneath them and still wont do their own yards.

@@mrfinder18 we did it for our neighbors without asking. I’m from a “poor” community. I still believe in doing things out of the kindness of our hearts. I’ve raised my kids that way as well. Be the change. Don’t worry about what others do or don’t do.
To sixtyfiveford. Yes, you are RIGHT. When my mother passed on, I couldn't afford to live on English Welfare alone, as I had to pay my medical bills as well. I went to our neighbours we had known all our lives, and asked would it be alright to come round to each of them, once a week, for a meal. This would not have been any hardship to them, but a great help to ME. It all came to nothing, and now I have my pension, money is no longer a worry. The only thing that makes me feel better about these situations, is that there are, by contrast so many NICER people around, who are making such kind comments about people, on this channel!

I also live in the middle of the woods, no grass, tree canopy does not allow enough light to the floor to grow grass.

Al does an awesome job with lawn transformations. My favorite part is watching him with the weedeater cleaning the fences. He is the GOAT of fence cleaning. Love it. May God continue to bless you, Al, and AP.

You are a great gentleman. I watched AP channel yesterday and I couldn't believe that he did a whole yard with a weed eater and had his equipment all of his equipment in his car. You are both great people for what you do for other people you will both be blessed.
Who are the true believers.Those who take care of the vulnerable,(widows orphans,the elderly,the infirm)Even though it's a project the result is immense and reaches worldwide.Hopefully many of us will take the example and help where ever we see the need.Thanks Al and AJ.🇹🇹

It would be nice if a lot of tradesmen got together and formed a "Love they neighbor organization". Each business could take it off their taxes as advertising or something? But more importantly, helping the widowed, the elderly, the poor, the single parent, with minor repairs, lawn care would be a huge boost in encouragement not only for the recipient but the community as well. The Lord commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves. So, people who have businesses, or means should be showing these people love.
This man was not down on his luck. He was dead. No way he could've cut his grass even if he wanted to.
I don't understand why the neighbors did not step up to help? What has happened to us? Thank God for Al.
Between the flowers in the yard and the compost pile in the back, this gentleman was obviously (at least, at one time) a gardener. Something tells me that he was smiling down on you two, as you worked to make his yard beautiful again -- one last time. RIP, Sir!

Let me just say this you guys are amazing. I think it’s sad when you have neighbors in your neighborhood and they will not step up and help someone in need, it’s in your own neighborhood. Even though you do this for free people can take advantage of your kindness when it looks like the neighbors could have pitched in and taken care of it. God loves you guys, you may have a story of why you do it, but that neighborhood could have done it. I would like to donate some money for your thoughtfulness
He doesn't take money but there should be a link to donate to the CF foundation that is his charity.
I looked up the foundation.
it's sad neighbors round this elderly person doesn't want hto pitch in and help check on this person instead of complaining.these people will be in same shape one day.God bless this person for stepping in and helping out

I remember growing up.A naibor helped a naibor reguardless of the circumstances.Seems that's gotten lost these days.If only people would simply start helping each other out together the world will begin to heal.
