I remember when Chris died I was shocked. Also didn't realize he was so young because of how early he got in the business. It's so sad to die from something that should of been standard. I guess we lost Scott Hall through a Similar issue. R.I.P to both guys. I never really heard bad about Chris either.
So I grew up 45 minutes from universal studios I would legitimately get off to school bus from high school and go to universal with my mother cuz I was disabled so she would take me. The TV taping proceeding lockdown 2005 was my very first experience with TNA wrestling I was at lockdown and almost every taping except for two or three over the next 4 years. It was my weekly or bi-weekly routine enough so that I did buy a season pass to the theme park would go to the park and then make sure I was in line to go see the CNA show for that day. I remember waiting outside by the hard rock with the excess crowd. That November in 2005 I was looking enough to go backstage and meet a lot of the guys including Jeff as part of the school project. Going to as many shows as I did I got to know Dixie a little bit so when the school project of you have to find a business and shadow somebody for the day came up well I'm a wrestler in bed this is what I want to do why not. My English teacher the one who assigned the project legitimately called me stupid for wanting to do this but I sent the email and I got the shadow Terry Taylor that was a great experience I got to meet Jeff that day as well. And I also will remember going backstage that June thanks to a local DJ. I have so many great fond memories of that time in TNA from the unbreakable three way still the greatest mention I've ever seen in person. Two AJ styles at lockdown 2006. To Christian Cage winning the NWA title in the entire audience jumping in the ring with him. I am grateful Conrad and Jeff covered this pay-per-view because it's a sentimental one for me. From a lifelong wrestling fan thank you Jeff for starting TNA from 2005 until about 2012 and never missed an episode when AJ left I was out honestly. I am forever grateful for those memories and they answer the question I've been wondering for 17 years why didn't they charge for tickets for impact. I'm glad I finally know the answer to that dumb decision by universal in my opinion they charge for Blue Man group in the same location at the old Nickelodeon studio right in front of sound stage 21 they could have done the same thing
That was part of my wrestling vacation. I live near St Louis, rented a car and drove to Marion, Illinois for a TNA Basebrawl show on a Friday, stayed in a hotel then drove to Memphis the next day for a Basebrawl stayed in a hotel, then flew to Orlando on Sunday for the Slammiversary and stayed for the next three days of tv tapings. Oh I had a great time, as I had the package deals they offered for everything, meeting all the wrestlers, Memphis show included a Sting bat and got to meet him, in Orlando got to go to a tailgate party and meet Hulk Hogan. Great memories.
I bought this ppv and thought it was great! I also remember the dirtsheets panning the idea for various reasons but alot of dirtsheets hated on TNA all the time for everything.
I have to disagree, the sports reporters on espn begat the best damn sports show period. Difference is best damn ditched the suits, they seem to have fun.
Happy 50th episode.Look forward to each episode show is awesome.
Happy 50th show guys. Watched every one. Need to rethink my life and my job.
Congratulations Jeff and Conrad on your 50th episode! Excellent episode on the first ever TNA lockdown PPV! Here’s to the next 50 episodes 🎉👏🏾
That Elix Skipper spot on the cage is one of the best clips in TNA history. It was awesome. But, yes very dangerous.
Love this show!!
Time has fly with these episodes…..
Any topics with TNA brings back memories…….
That blue chew promo was epic. That's B-L-U-E C-H-E-W. Ha HA
I've missed the bluechew promos
Conrad: Apparently, sorry for your loss. Here’s a honey baked ham……..spiral cut 🤣
Conrad: Who was booking during this time?
Jeff: (reads a Harry Potter book to the audience)
😄😁😂😭

I had a great experience going to the impact zone for slamiversary in 2011 for the PPV and the tv tapings that week. First time I've been to Florida.

Where the hell that Blue Chew commercial come from 😂
Conrad makes the ads fun
Does double j hate Vince Russo? According to Jim Cornette he does
They seem to have a hot/cold relationship. Jeff bought him in but disliked a lot of his ideas.
Raw went to TNN and that turned into Spike

Ducksy 😆😆
how on the money was it when he was sitting on the toilet making eggs?
Canadian Destroyer...the dumbest move in wrestling.
I hate when conrad says all of the sudden
Alex Shelley was my favorite in TNA. Still one of the best today. I always wanted to see him and Angle wrestle
