Been having trouble finding an answer for my '16 CTS-V. Maybe you might know? How is the rear deck covering under the rear window removed. Trying to replace the bose speakers. Ideas? Maybe an assembly drawing? thanks for any help...
Great look. I really appreciate how you give credit to the other channels that you learned from. It's because of you I purchased from Savage Cadillac. Oliver is a cool dude.
Sorry about your trim. Really sucks a lot of people have failing trim and it’s expensive and hard to find. Some have been switching to aluminum and wrapping the trim
@@JetFuelOnly update on this story for you. Today I finally got the stones to install my rear shocks (they aren't leaking, but they were very blown. Car is much tighter now, I have to install the fronts now. Second, I bought a new old stock 2014 CTS Vsport door panel with the carbon fiber trim on eBay for 305. Installed it in 15 minutes. It's really nice having a brand new door panel!
Just saw this vid and had to subscribe… Quick question, is it possible to change the light up under that dash trim by just removing the trim? Is the light directly under that? My dash trim light dosent shine as bright as it used to
Hi, would you mind doing a vid showing the removal of the interior door panel. I too have the 2014 cts vsport but I need to replace a wonky window switch.
Mine doesn't have the clips, the carbon fiber was glued. I live in hot weather area so they warping over time. I guess I can heat to straighten out and glue back. Most likely will be right back in same situation after though.
Jet Fuel Only so if I pull them off, I can put the vynil around without the CF. Of course that would would have to be same for all pieces or else some raised some not.
@@JetFuelOnly thank you sir but my husband already went and got us new Cadillacs we both have 2021 ct4s but unfortunately, super cruise isnt available do to shipping and back orders of parts... covid again lol hope all are staying safe!!! Sorry dont check this often, maybe i should turn on notifications!! 🤣😂🤣😂👍
That was a fast reply!!we are impressed sir! Good luck with your channel and health as well!! P.s hubby says he would appreciate any new videos on the 21 ct4s lol😉😉 but we understand they are still babies and no upgrades available yet.. we checked but maybe you have a better place to check!!
I just did my ct6..I used this video for reference. There are two clips that have to basically break to get it off. One is by the door handle and the other is by the skinny part closer the inside of the door. I did one door that way but the rest off them I just wrap with them on came out great...I'll post a vid soon
I know this is about a million decades to late but I'm PRAYING that you immediately went back to that beautiful 5D weeze directly after the conclusion!? I'm almost 120% possitive u did tho. But I appreciate you doing so for the sake of this video I appreciate it. So I am in the process of making my own Carbon version rn. I need some advice so I got glass silver for the rockers because eventually there is going to be that "6D" Black and silver pattern which really it's just 2 D printed on there and same with the front splitter the same one you put on a while back ot will be my 4th one but the 1st? 3rd where 100% my fault but the 2nd was due to the fact that it was just SO DAM CLOSE TO THE GROUND! I wasn't aware there was going to b an inch of clearance!? So anyway I found thos silver and black 2d that I wanted to use for the pillars and for the plastic pieces behind the back wheels jus below the bumber on each side and then here's where the advice is needed I could use the gloss where i originally Said. #rockers" considering it's already on the interior where that terrible wood grain was and then expound to other accents like maybe even the front grill slats which are that gloss drak grey (hate em) or I could forget about the gloss silver all together and use this transparent I've been seeing where I mentioned. Which is where u would use for the door jams and plactic kick plate coming in but if I switch to the transparent then the gloss is out the window which I already have on the interior so I'd say keep the interior and the black 2d idea and use for those plastic pieces comin in the door with that 7cm 1/16 roll of the same color blk/silver center with tat metallic blue on te sides because my custom floor mats and set covers are black and blue as well as all my interior lights are blue. But I Also have to keep it tatse full So that would be it? But what do u think also what do u think about the front grill idea and what color of what I mentioned would u do or would u leave thar alone all together I plan on upgrading the grill but u figure it would be cool in the mean time. I know this us alot but could really use your help and alive please. O keep in mind over the gloss silver carbon on the rockers I'll have those 3.5 foot ground effects that r the black and silver print like the splitter and 2d wrap that matches on the pillars and those pieces behind back wheels. Or maybe u have a better idea completely to share. I hope u can visualize this cause I couldn't think of a better person to ask considering u have been customizing caddys for decades in the fashion. 😀 help my put my man
I got a little lost in your message. If you do any carbon fiber pattern make sure it’s meant for exterior use when putting it on the splitters and stuff. The better looking gloss carbon fiber vinyls often aren’t meant for exterior. The only thing that looks good on the grill is black. I try to imagine using carbon fiber only on things that could realistic come with CF. otherwise it’s just too much.
@@JetFuelOnly lol perhaps :). I have a ton of stuff in boxes here now I need to get installed (turbo solenoids, high flow intercooler pump, Renick CAI with upgraded filters, aluminum interior trim kit, trunk trim (and need my spring set higher tension), intercooler reservoir, tint replacement and still need to get my body work done from the Prius side swiping me in road rage mode (I'd be pretty angry if I had to drive a Prius too) and probably some things I am forgetting.) My apartment complex suddenly came down on me since my son was working on his 350Z in front of the two garage units I rent here due to people saying 'It's not fair they don't have a place to work on a car'. So stupid, but my plan is to move in two years back into a house I own.
What do you think? Do you like the satin forged carbon? It almost looks like fabric, like crushed velvet.
very cool

I like the satin. It gives the interior a more plush feel and it's unique.
The sacrifice of a plastic tab to show us how to get those trim pieces off deserves a sub !! 👍🏽👍🏽
James Jones haha. You are right! A moment of silence for the tab!

Your video of the interior upgrade is Niiiice. Mine came with the gray, I think I'll purchase the carbon fiber weave style 😎
Thanks for the video, I was nervous watching it like that was my car getting done . You didn’t hear me saying slow down? 😆
Really appreciate your channel, keep up the great work man!
More great content, thanks for all you do Danial! -Jo
Daaaaamnn Danial!! Lol nice looks really good may have to do that in mine 👍🏼
AWESOME video! Thanks for posting!
Where's the love for the XTS V-Sport?
Pretty rare and not a lot of enthusiasts! But they are welcome!
Thanks for posting! Helped alot
Hi, would you mind doing a vid showing the removal of the interior door panel. I too have the 2014 cts vsport but I need to replace a wonky window switch.
I need to get around to that too...
I see you have the suede interior. Is it possible to remove that piece of the door and wrap it in suede? I love that look and don't have it!
I’m sure it’s possible but it’s integrated with stitching. I think an interior shop is where you need to go for the work.
Do you have a video for rear seat center console removal?
Like the rear AC controls?
Great video but the stock cf is killing the wrap. But I see it as being a protectant now lol
Mine doesn't have the clips, the carbon fiber was glued. I live in hot weather area so they warping over time. I guess I can heat to straighten out and glue back. Most likely will be right back in same situation after though.
Yours has clips the CF has unglued from the backing that the CF has been applied to.

Very detailed.
What about other peices like center console and so on? How do we remove them?
Like the piano black area around the shifter? Much more in-depth process. Will take an hour to pull apart.
