If you goto HP's site and choose the 445 or 445 ProBook, then choose the one that says AMD Ryzen 3 APU, you can choose a bunch of configurable options: 1) W10 vs FreeDos _(huge savings)_ 2) 5400U vs 5600U vs 5800U 3) 250nits, 400 nits or 1000 nits screen 4) 4, 8, 16 or 32 GB RAM 5) etc I think the pricing is a bit high for a 6 core laptop, no Windows _(FreeDos),_ 400 NIT screen, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe and a 45 WHr battery. Both the 445 and 455 priced this config over $1000 bucks. If the battery was 80 WHr and it was a touchscreen, I'd be interested.
You have to consider in the Cinebench scores that the 4500U is just a 6 core 6 thread CPU and this is an 8 core 16 thread CPU, so that improvment probably due that it has a higher base core and multythreaded and not because it's a 5000 series CPU. The 4600U and the 4800U are a multythreaded CPU, the 4500U and 4700U are not, so it would be great to see if there is any inprovment compare to the 4800U.

I just brought the lenovo ideapad pad flex 5 with the ryzen 5 4500u processor which has a 14 inch screen. I agree you may face issues regarding the display but bear in mind that this is a 2-in-1 convertible, it has to be glossy. Also, a 15.6 inch screen is not at all ideal for a convertible, a 14 inch screen is much better. So the thing is, if you are interested in buying this laptop, go for the ryzen 5 4th Gen 14 inch variant.

Lenovo also has the Ideapad Slim 5 that is equipped with a 300 nits display. Seems to be a mostly similar laptop minus the touchscreen (And cheaper too based on my local pricing). A good trade off.
I just got this laptop. I really like it but I think the speakers are too low in certain situations like you say and for the brightness when I sit near my window I have to turn it to max brightness which seems very weird. As for web-cams and such, I get that sometimes you want the "best" picture / video quality?....but most business meetings?...only want to see your head / upper torso and hear your input on whatever topic is being discussed, I seriously doubt the exec who uses their MacBook and iPad at home?...could care less about their video quality and audio on their Windows work laptop! To me?...I think a lot of the sticking points that are spoken about in the industry are just irrelevant. One example?...the fact that some content creators feel the need to mention that "You Can Open This Laptop With One Hand".....unless you only HAVE one hand?...this isn't a "feature, this isn't a perk, or a benefit. If anything?..it shows a hinge that's not "tight" enough...but that's a personal preference, and they need to stop mentioning it....along with webcams and audio, which might only be important to video / audio studio engineers, or content creators who focus on graphics and such....in which case you'd think they'd be buying and using high-end stuff?.....I dunno...that's just how I see it.
