Bill, congratulations to you and Mike on a magnificent, cold day on the river. I get all excited about tiny crappie while your rainbows, steelhead and browns are humungous and beautiful monsters. Beautiful scenery in this remote location and looks like your season is getting off to a great start. Hi to Mike and stay warm. Don
thanks Don , i still get excited about crappie fishing myself every spring . i had to stop fishing for a while my hands got so cold after handling fish
Great video, was up on the oak last week lots of fish in, glad to see they're coming in there too. Great job thanks for the content. Just heard Mike say my favorite saying, "In the Lake O tribs, you NEVER know what you'll hook."
Awsome video as always. I'm heading to that same location tomarrow with the kayak. Can't wait! Watching this video just got me pumped. Tight lines and good fishin to you both.
Solid video bill...you & Mike did very good ...solid big fish ...great video brother. .I haven't landed a solid brown in years, that 1 u caught was a nice.tank brown...ready 4 another steelhead run here in pa now after this video. Tight lines guys.
@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures thanks brother, seems like the run finally happened on our side. We finally got the rain & right temps. Be up next week chasing chrome and mabe some browns if the timing is right.
@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures I meant I can tell where your fishing at and the exact spots...Been fishing that area for like 35...Would never ask for your honeyholes nor give away the location online....Lol
no skunkin'- Bill I commented on a another one of your vids I grew up fishing the same creeks, but now live in CO. Have been back a few times (usually fall) visiting family, usually fish a couple times. Miss those creeks desperately. You let me live vicariously through your videos (love em- keep em coming)- would love to get some contact info so I could send you some of my CO. fish pics..... got no vids, just some colorado fish pics. No solicitations, no B.S.- just want to share since you've been so generous w/ your videos. tight lines guys.....
Nice brown! Can you do a video on curing the brown eggs? Or what ever you do with the eggs? I got a brown myself with eggs and I'm curious as to what you recommend I do with them. Thanks and great video!
Awesome video guys that's the way to beat the crowd. I've been wanting to do this for awhile. Still alot of weeds though. Do you have to pay to launch a canoe or kayak?
Those browns were insane! Here in Michigan I'd go crazy if I got one of those.. do you ever notice more people showing up to those spots after making a video like this?
i fished these areas starting 30 years ago and rarely saw anyone else but more and more people starting fishing there long before i starting uploading videos
@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures Pretty high and muddy today but I am thinking it should be good tomorrow. I may be fishing the mouth of one of our nursery waters anyway. If walnut does not subside enough then I surely will be at the mouth of the nursery water.
Bill & Mikes Angling Adventures how do you work your jigs by chance? Looks like you guys didn’t have much flow to deal with. Did you just dead drift it?
Awesome post! Nothing beats fishing and catching with our kids. Love to see the New York fishing. I miss my time up there . Thanks for the great vids.

great stuff guys. When you are using the jigs, do you just let them drift with the current, or do you give it an occasional twitch?

Awesome video guys that's the way to beat the crowd. I've been wanting to do this for awhile. Still alot of weeds though. Do you have to pay to launch a canoe or kayak?
thanks man, way more weeds than most year - $4 launch
What a day! Amazing
we were overdue do for a decent day of fishing
Where is that is it 12 mile?
no but most streams have fish staging in the lower ends waiting for rain
are those the same rods??? and why are you not using worms?? they always catch fish for sure
same , too many bluegills at that creek for worm fishin
