A great guy, an incredible musician and an inspiration to anyone who wants to be the best at what they do. Fly high, Myles. Thank you for the music and the legacy of what I feel to be the best rock band of all time. April Wine will live forever. Rest well, legend. ❤🎶🎤🎸
I do believe Myles Goodwin was inducted into the song writers hall of fame and shortly after April Wine was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame
Not more than month ago, I came on TH-cam and created April Wine playlist of all their great songs. This morning I woke up to hear sad news that Myles Goodwin passed away yesterday. MAN! getting depressing to see so many pop icons of my youth passing on.
IF THIS BAND WAS OUT OF THE US THEY WOULD HAVE RANKED UP THIER WITH THE TOP BANDS . THEY WERE CANADIAN AND BACK THEN THEY DIDNT GET THE RECOGNITION THEY DESERVED PERIOD!!
George. I worked at the airport in Calgary for ever. I always had my walkman and played Bands like April wine to American flight crews that I became friends with. I used to watch their faces as they listened and many would pull off the headphones and ask...My God! Who is this? Why dont I know this band? Canada is full of the best kept musical secrets!
@@mark-dietz hey Mark, was also working at or near airport in Calgary. My dad(passed last march) introduced me to April Wine when I was just a kid. A great memory was hangin with my dad at some old rock concerts. Mom(passed last april,12 days after dad with unrelated issues) was all about country music..Sure glad dad loved rock and roll. Within the last 15 years before his passing, Dad and Myself would go see a rock show about once a year. I sure miss you dad.. thanks for being cool and influencing me about music. We've seen April Wine ,Collective soul, The Stampeders, The Trews, Sheepdogs,Trooper,Ratt,Alice in Chains and many more. Thanks for all the memories! And in conclusion, I LIKE TO ROCK.
@@blairdickey1689 My condolences about your parents, Im sure some of those songs mean an awful lot to you because of the memories. Your Dad had good taste! April Wine was the first band I ever saw live, in Penticton. Seen them many times and they never disappointed.
I remember when this was released and a hit on the radio back in the fall of 1974. Makes me wish I was only 15 again. April Wine have to one of the best Canadian bands around because a few years later in my travels I have heard their hit songs played on AM/FM radio stations as far away as New Zealand so that just goes to show that the band had incredible significance. However, we gotta hand it to the frontman of the band, Myles Goodwin who made it all happen.
Best band for love ballads and with Myles Goodwyn sweet voice, everyone of them a hit. Sweet memories from the 70's and even 80's come to mind whenever I hear their songs. Thanks April Wine for romancing us.
What an amazing band, saw them open for Rush on their Farewell to Kings tour at Maple Gardens in Toronto back in the late 70s. They remind me of my teen years in the 70s. Such sweet memories such awesome music.

I'd be down with that. Grew up in Montreal in early 70s when band was based here and was big fan of the band. The years pass, forgot about them but binge listening to them on TH-cam today, and had forgotten how many GREAT!! songs they made.
And if tomorrow would be easier for you And there's nothing that I can say or I can do Well darling, please come home the thoughts of every man who ever knew he fucked up and would give his last breath to take it back
So let me get this straight… This video was posted nine years ago and it only has a little over 900 likes. But “now days” millions will listen to/like “garbage music” with perverse & disgusting lyrics (and I use the term “music” very loosely)! That’s just crazy!!

Sad to hear of Myles passing. A Canadian Rock Icon.
Why the hell are these guys not in the Rock hall of fame. Show some love.
Absolutely….a Canadian example of musical genius!
Probably be embarrassing to be there

Every party I would play a song for the people who never heard of them and we all sang along to "I'm on fire for you babehhhhh" lol :)
Truly one of the best bands ever!

Another priceless tune after all these years 💗😀😀❤❤ . Don't want to lose your love 💓
I was introduced to April Wine by my best friend in high school (circa 1982). I have been a fan ever since.

Such a great band, awsome memories!!
Excellent song by April Wine !!! Myles Goodwin is missed !!! April Wine was great in my younger days - so many top-notch party songs !!!
Can we get a bronze statue of Myles in Montreal? A BIG effing statue. Flipping huge. I love this man.
And it ticks me off how under-rated Myles is as a guitarist. Just saying.

Great Great representation of my younger days. Thank you gents.
Un des groupes rock les plus sous-estimés de toute l’histoire de la 🎶 musique!!! 🌹
Great songs! Thanks for the tunes....RIP
I love ❤️ so much this song
There was an ice cream place in town that gave out this 45 with the purchase of a sundae. Although I remember it,it was a million years ago.
April Divine. Saw Myles perform 'Rock and Roll is a vicious game' in concert a long time ago.
Canadian classic rock is the best
