- In August-September 2021 I participated to the four-month event Road to Rome. It’s been a four month relay race along the whole Via Francigena, from Northern France to Southern Italy. I contributed by walking with the group for eight days, in order to promote slow travel and sustainable tourism. While walking I filmed a documentary that I then distributed for free on my TH-cam channel.

Let’s live slower. Let’s travel slower. Let’s make time to enjoy the little things.
Thank you,

Girare la Toscana in moto è uno spettacolo!
Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's
A sunny day, oh yeah.
Relaxing to watch :)
‘There is, in the centre of Italy, a magical region. It is a land that takes in parts of Umbria, Tuscany and Le Marche. A land so filled with artistic treasures and natural beauty that it has become..the envy of the World’. Francesco Da Mosto: ‘Francesco’s Italy Top to Toe, Episode 2: A British Love Affair (Tuscany and Umbria)’, BBC, 2006.
There are many lands like that in Italy, just not as famous internationally :)
@@WhatashameMaryJane but It Is also the cradle of Renaissance compared to other places. 😄
Io aggiungerei il Lazio settentrionale
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A lovely journey...with beautiful music.....very nice thankyou
It's nectarine in English too.
In Italian we generally call it in another way that would be literally translated with "walnut peach".
Hey there ! Thanks so much for your video. I am French. I did the French camino last summer and I would like to do the via francingena alone. Do you meet a lot of people on the way? Are the accommodation expensive?
Is there a lot of international people?
I luoghi più belli che abbia mai visto! Consiglio una visita ad inizio Giugno quando tutto è verde ed ancora più acceso!😁
Mi piacerebbe tornarci in quella stagione!
I found a sign for the via Francigenia in San Gimignano. That’s the closet I came to it while on vacation. I looked for the small signs with a monk on them San Gimignano, in Siena, and Florence but saw nothing. I think that means I need to return. Love, love, love the video.
You created a beautiful segment starting at 6:00. Nice editing and choice of music.
😲😲😲Exquisite video.....omg......serene 🌈🌈🌈......silly question time.....what is the type of the tall cylindrical trees along the road? 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
They are cipressi in Italian (pronounced chee-pre-ssee), the scientific name is cupressus. They are generally used to fence cemeteries, but in Tuscany they used them to line country roads or land properties.
Breathtaking... thank you for taking us along! 🇮🇹 ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Mi hai fatto venire una voglia incredibile di andarci... Io sono Friulano ma sto in Liguria, l'avrei praticamente ad un passo!
Missione compiuta allora! Spero tu ci vada presto :)
