Original songs on setlist =Im alive =that's the way it is =The prayer =beauty and the beast =love can move mountain high And ONLY 2 SONGS FROM HER NEW ALBUM =IMPERFECTIONS =COURAGE. THE TEAM WOULD THINK TWICE ON THE SETLIST.CELINE DESERVES MORE =ALL BY MYSELF.WAS ALSO GOOD FOR THE SETLIST CAUSE IT MADE'S CELINE FAMOUS BY HER STYLE IN BIG NOTE. AND ON FRENCH. when you have a 4 decade career and 27+ albums, the people paying to see her aren't really there for the new album. 2 or 3 songs from the new album is already an over-representation.
@@howiecd3861 2 or 3 songs out of 20 brand new ones is an UNDER representation when the show could be 22 songs long. The only thing over represented is seven covers that really do not belong. I can see one or two but seven is a slap in the face to the new album.
Tcottong, 6 covers if we consider RDMH Céline’s song (which we should after she has performed it over 1000 times and done her own studio version of it) 😉 Still too many covers though... However, the only cover I would really kick out of the show is “Imagine”. The others at least add some energy and great vocals to the show.
@@celinero9977 maybe so on rdmh but in this medley its all categorized the same. Unnecessary, and yes it adds vocal energy.. while it also adds to the excuse of why vocal songs like change my mind and lying down won't make it to the show. I like that the covers are somewhat vocal. I do like that a lot. At least they are not boring like many of the older vegas covers.. but if she is going to tire herself out on the harder songs being covers there is less chance for her to sing some of her own harder songs like flying on my own or lying down. Or even loved me back to life and i drove all night. I will say i found it interesting the indy crowd really wasn't impressed by the medley in comparison to the other crowds which seemed to enjoy it more.
@Adam Buentello okay i have repeatedly said i don't mind ANY of her songs. Hit or not, even lcmm. To me lcmm will always have a place. But nearly a half hour of RANDOM covers should not be the norm on a tour supporting a new album. When people bring up setlist complaints everyone insists its the hits im bored with...i don't mind hits its the unnecessary songs that no one goes to a celine concert to hear. Yes i want the hits but people go to celine to hear celine. Not prince, bowie, queen. Tina, Lennon, etc
