I think his dog tags being in the water signify that he is dead and now a ghost too. That’s probably why the campers freaked out when they saw him.

There's something about the way that the characters in these videos move unnaturally slow that adds to the eeriness

@@AnimatedHorrorFlicks All the channels do that to many of us at night....the better channels & the ones still progressing their skills. The stories don't necessarily put me to sleep. For me, it's that I like to finish my day by watching them, and I just happen to fall asleep. LoL! I've been watching these types of channels since 2020...I guess they've become a sort of comfort for me.

My guess is that she took over his body, drowned him, and puppeteered his body back to the cabin. They probably saw his drowned corpse laying in the bed. (You could hear the water squishing from his clothes as he walked back to the cabin.)

Thanks. A lot of folks don't know this but every frame gets refined and vectorized in Krita. It takes a lot longer to produce but I love the quality of it. I'm just not sure if I will be able to continue with this workflow especially since quality doesn't seem to play much of a role here on TH-cam anymore.

I’ve heard warnings not to pick up old arrowheads you find, as they may have at one point been used to kill someone. I believe the arrowhead in this story is implied to have been part of a necklace, but it just made me think of that.

I really find the no narration format more immersive. It leaves the viewers able to better insert themselves into the character and model how they would react in such a situation. It reminds me of some of Gendy Tartakovsky's work ( the guy that made Samurai Jack and Primal)
I really appreciate that and I'm a huge fan of Gendy Tartakovsky's work, especially with Primal. Sometimes I wish more folks shared your opinion but I guess people get so used to the narrated format, however I do think every content creator should have the creative freedom to experiment and try new things every once and while. Thanks again for expressing appreciation for my work ;)

@@CourtneyDeezWell, I'm thinking he became part of a zombie colony/cult in the end, & that anyone else who goes to that place will suffer the same fate. I've watched it several times now & there's still some mystery going on there...

@@sarahhurst701 idk lol! But the zombie theory would make sense of why everyone screamed. He looked normal walking back, but the way he walked back so calmly after being held under water by that thing....that gave me lots of questions.
It took me watching full screen to realize the first thing that plopped into the water was the arrowhead he was holding while on the tire swing...so he went in the lake to get that. She got his dog tags at some point...prob when she stopped the swing & shrieked at him (scary!). Maybe she knew he would go in the lake to get those & then she held him under. He looks normal tho. That's what's confusing me about all the screaming in the cabin. He must be harming them/killing them/zombifying them.
Ahh the story is called "The Curse of Blue Ridge Creek." So it's a curse...I just needed to read the title lolol

My take on it is that when you die near the creek a possession of yours is thrown into the water. The ghost girl held him under the water and killed him, now his ghost has just walked back to the camp

I'm not sure what was going on in the end. Ik the lights in the camp turn on and all the kids are screaming and the female ghost is just sitting peacefully on the sign enjoying the screaming!
You never fail to amaze me
I like this one because there is no narration. Everything is implied, and some parts can be left up to interpretation, which is good because it allows us to come up with our own ideas of what is going on without taking away from the story.

Pretty sure she was a ghost who drowned years earlier, and by the end she kills him and turns him into a ghost too.

I am sure the forest is a nice place to visit but in this case your walking along and you come to a tree with rest in peace you turn around and run as fast as you can you don't swing on the tree but your still walking and you come to the water across you see a ghost you leave so now there's a cabin which is a mystery and she's sitting there so maybe she was hurt there who knows but all I can say time to bailout me I would rather stay home.🌍✌️🌍🍀🌍💯🌍🥰🌍

The guy's first mistake was camping by himself and with no weapons for protection
Unless he was somehow carrying around a Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, I don't think there are many weapons that can protect you against a ghost.
So the guy went into the girls cabin and terrified a bunch of girls at the end
