I got 11 wrong. It was hard. But I still want to practice. Thank you.
Ok, I’m realizing that this “advanced” quiz is for people learning English as a second language, not people who speak English and need to improve their upper grammar skills.
Makes sense now…. If you found one lmk
you're trying to say that you are good ? 😀😀😀
Not really, I didn’t go to school in this Country but my grammar is much better than people who went . My English is not my first language neither.
Question #3:
In America, you are likely to hear "me down for the weekend" instead.
This means the person intends to participate in an activity.
Great quiz though.
fr i also answered me down 😂😂😂
@@Fionah17 In Srilanka, 'me down for the weekend' means oral
30/30. English is my fifth language (after Danish, my mother tongue, French, German and Swedish).
You're genius❤
how come ? there is 4 mistakes in this test !!!!!!! don't fart higher than your ass !!!!😀😀😀
I got 24/30 and I am a native English speaker.
During this afternoon (Thursday, March 14, 2024) I once again aced this "Difficult/Advanced Grammar Quiz"-and,once again, I
aced it ! Keep these quizzes coming! Larry Carroll😃😇🤩💋❤💯
I got 29/30, thanks!! Keep the difficult tests coming!😊
Excellent!
@@EnglishMasterClass This isn't advanced intermediate at best.
@@pookie03.1 Can't face the truth, can you?
28/30, even with all my knowledge on english, i still feel this test kinda difficult, i guess we all are always learning even when we think we know everything...nice test and video!!
Great job!
Are you sure? The multiple choice options made it way too obvious to give the correct answers. This test is for low-Intermediate level students at best.
Q3 could be "down" as well if are deciding between a reservation during the week or on the weekend. "Can you put me down for the weekend?" means "Can you write my name on the list for the weekend?"
no ! put something or someone down ! put him or it on the floor ! and put up is something else !
Thank you for this Video Lesson.
It's quite difficult for beginners
Need practice
You can do it!
I got 22/30, I´m 72 y.o. and I have been studying English since 2012. I´m Argentine. Thanks.
3:43 why did we choose "lay" it doesn't make sense to me helpp?
Lay is past form of lie
The moment I started watching this video I started improving in English
24/30 Time is a little faster ,especially for the last ones. Thanks a lot.
You can pause
24/30 Im actually proud cause its been 2 years since i started learning english and im young so i got a lot more to learn ;) Thanks for this practice video!

I took-and passed- this "Difficult/Advanced English Grammar Quiz,and I answered 28 of 30 correctly. Thanks! Larry Carroll🤩😍
Great job!
Cuz it had only 2 questions for Intermediate students and the other ones were for beginners due to its obvious multiple choice options. Congratulations 😂 👏.
@@kadya1712 exactly
Ive got below ave. The exam was really quite difficult. But I still want to practice more. Thank you.
Idk who made this but as a native English speaker the phrase from number 2 does not even make sense lol
Number 3 also doesn’t make sense.
Thank you!! They don't make a lot of sense for me either, but I'm not native so I'm not sure. At least, now I don't feel so bad I didn't got those ones 😂
@@nadiapitarch5870lol I don’t even remember why I watched this but yeah I’ve never heard anyone say those phrases nor does it make sense.
The answer to the first question here is "employees," but in an age of decline only a few readers will understand what I'm getting at (if I may use that idiom).
Eu acertei 13/30. Mas continuo firme, um dia eu chego lá. Thanks
Thank you for sharing! The Klezmer music was a bit distracting for this activity, as much as I like it.
84 y/o. 30 right answers.
Question 6 why is the answer is lay why it is not laid because laid is past and the answer in the past
I also made the same mistake here, but request some elaboration
lie down is the present lay down is the past
I got 26 correct answers, I really enjoyed this video. Thanks
To me the first 10 Qs was the most difficult ; I could answer 5 only.. The next 20 relatively easier ; I could answer 16/20.. Over all 21/30
i got full marks yay

Q10 - "Shattered" is British English slang for tired and not American English. In American English slang, "shattered" means emotionally destroyed. None of the four answers makes sense for American English.
21/30,I still need yo improve My English.thanks a Lot.
How is your English now👾?
It's really enjoyable and knowledgeable. I made 3 mistakes. Thanks
Great job!

I got 30/30
Yeh right
Well done. It was a good test.
My score is 30/30
27/30 good test
Nice job!
This is SUPER easy
Hello, dear teacher. Please, make multiple choice options more challenging, as it makes it too transparent when you look at them and see 3 total nonsense options and one reasonable one. It should be about frequently made mistakes like "will" instead of (going to) and stuff like that. Not about "Will" and "Being is they".
27/30 thanks
Great job! Which did you get wrong?
29-of the stamp act
I got 25/30, thanks
I got seven wrong and 23 correct, I'm proud of myself.
I didn't get what's mean by 'Can you put me up for the weekend' line ..
What's the name this kind of grammar?
The sentence "Can you put me up for the weekend?" means the speaker is asking if they can stay at someone's place for the weekend, essentially requesting accommodation.
"Put someone up" is a common phrasal verb meaning to provide lodging or a place to stay temporarily.
I stopped into 10. It is 8/10
A bit of an error regarding Question 11. The British Parliament consists of two Houses, and while members of the House of Commons are elected by the people, members of the House of Lords are not. Nonetheless, excellent test.
27/30🎉
I enjoyed the video, 5 were wrong and the rest were correct. Keep on sending these kind of videos .🥰
I could answer only 24 thank you sir
14-borrow or lend
21 out of 30
thanks
I scored 27/30. I believe I am at Advanced level.
Νot bad, 26/30, we thank you very much
Very good!
Why is question 6's answer a? Lay can only be used as a transitive verb, i.e with an object. The princess is the subject, not an object she's laying down......
Nevermind, figured it out. Wow that's a SUPER tricky one.
I only got 80 percent of the score, man that was difficult and tricky, had to pause and think.
Stopped after the first question. “Gardens” is also a correct answer. Moreover, the grammar on the opening title cards is abysmal.
10-scattered
30/30 and Peruvian btw🇵🇪
Aced it. 30/30
25/30 is that good?
amazing thank you 29 / 30
