I think YG is aware that most of Treasure’s fans are older and come from the older YG boy groups’ fandom and have a pretty much good idea about the kind of fans they (we) are, that we don’t care if they do sexy, they’re still babies to us and will protect them in all ways possible.

It's funny how you realized Haruto's star potential during that TMap episode where he ended up crying because he got so scared. Haruto has always been that confident boy but maybe because he was just stating facts and he said it with such honesty (he really believes it) and innocence that it never came across as annoying to me. That tall boy is such a baby though...he is really cute. The way he almost covered Jaehyuk while sitting on his lap during the behind the scenes of their first music show appearance, the way Mashi and Yoshi babies/takes care of him - Haruto was the maknae in Japan line and they saw him when he was small until he almost outgrew everyone, and Hyunsuk babying him being the youngest of the rapper line. He does have something in him...I think he's bound to be a star. He will be really famous in the future.
I also think this is why I am okay with the sexy concept in Mmmm. My only concern is how the younger audience are taking it. It may be awkward for them. I don't worry about some of the boys being underaged - they are artists, singers and they are interpreting the song. It's good that they can show the diversity they can do and not be limited by their age. If they will wait for everyone to be of age, it will take 2-3 more years before they can show these type of concepts. They are artists if you see how they are like babies off stage you'll just be amazed by their duality of how they can look so mature, sexy, and pull off these concepts one moment and be cute, adorable babies the next. I find it fascinating more than worrisome.
If fans looked back at boy groups they followed when they were 14-18 then they’d surprised at how suggestive they were back then. And then they would remember how it used to just make them giggle, swoon, and scream. These guys are 15-21. They’re thinking about sex and it’s not unhealthy or wrong. Fans need to remember that. Not to mention the cute/sexy duality is a huge part of Kpop already.

At first its understandable that a lot of teume also worry about the concept, but until now i rarely seen any "sexualizing" comments related the dance.. i thought its just because mostly we are teumoms or teunoona, and just protect them at all cost 🤣.. as long as they're comfortable, so its okay.. I think that Doyoung, the one you pointed out at 7:23, just has wide movements when he dances. I noticed that in ILY as well, during the first pre-chorus, his legs when he goes down go wider than the others. When he appeared on Stray Kids' survival show, he was praised by JYP because of his big movements. He's one of my favourite dancers in Treasure.

I see no problem with their actions in this MV. They are growing boys 15-21 years old, I actually appreciate that they stayed true to the song's sexy-hip hop concept. It's such a fresh concept to introduce the group and the individual's potential as artists. So proud of the boys!! Looking forward to MAMA
i'd agree if they were 18 but some of them are underage. it made me feel a little uncomfortable because i don't want them getting sexualized by some people
@@victoriab98 it's in the person's perspective of how they see the boys lol personally I see nothing inappropriate, they're not stripping or doing intimate scenes. Young people on Instagram be posting sexy stuff and it's accepted as an expression. Other groups, including girl groups, be wearing short skirts and crop tops and doing a sexy concept, cause it's "their" concept, I believe is also a form of their musical artistry.

The adlibs is yedam and asahi voice, but mostly yedam. the highnote in adlibs it was yedam and in part "oh baby" it was asahi.
I completely agree about the age issue. I’ve been very worried about potential backlash from fans because of the concept. Personally I don’t sexualize them and can enjoy the song separately, but I worry it would look bad on the group since, counting international age, 5-8 are underage. Especially in Junghwan’s case. He is the one doing the “sexy” choreo in the first chorus and he is only 15 (international age) and 16-17 ish in korea so I know some fans will have something to say about it.
This was released nov 6 and thankfully no one was backlashed, and it's not that sexy to the point of making it 19+, if people get out of the normal then that's their problem they need to get checked.

I am actually curious how Haruto would rap in the future. In one of the training videos, I saw Haruto rapped Simon Dominic's DAx4 and boy did he got the growl right, I got goosebumps. Too bad it was only like 2 seconds worth. It would be awesome crazy if he could kind of, somewhat, master SamD's style. A YG boy idol that can dance AND spitting fire like Simon Dominic. I'd be ded.
