GrrMeister Well maybe YOURS isn't fake but 99% of cars these days use plastic to give that wood grain effect. Top end cars use real wood and that's great, but when you buy a Nissan and get that stupid ass wood grain it's just tacky
I agree I don't like 'imitation' wood or leather really, that's why I paid extra for B200 TDi AMG line with real leather seats and Black Ash trim (which Mercedes said they could not do) I however did get my wish and am delighted with the car. I would rate the BEST car I have ever had, and that includes Merc 420SE / 380CLC / Rolls Royce Silver Shadow and many more prestige cars. I regularly get 60+ MPG and in Germany last year did 135mph (on sat Nav) Speedo showed 140. I love the car and all the latest tech. You can plug in a USB socket a flash card with (on a 32gig) over 4000 song titles ! - I drove back last year from La Plagne non stop in 14 hrs/ 797 miles / 50.4mpg and av speed 54mph - stops and ferry. Tell me what other car would do that, and in comfort? - Not the world's best looking car I won't argue, but went to a top secret viewing at Dortmund last year and have seen the future. If I told you what I saw I would have to kill you, but believe me in the next few years you will be AMAZED Signing out Major GrrMeister

OMFG carbon trim it's about fucking time car manufacturers got away from that tacky fake wood panel look it was so damned tacky.
It's not 'fake' it is genuine Black Ash real wood - I have got one and ordered specially.
