I've been air rifling for a few years now. Just started to weigh my pellets this is a good example of how to go about it the right way. Greatly appreciated brother. Thanks for taking time to make this video. Of course I seen this video quite a while back but had to go back and review it today. Just wanted to make sure I get it right. Did a can of 250 last night 4 hours later while watching TV.... Holly shit! Lol Anyways the way I was doing them last night instead of 25.30 to 25.39g I was doing them 25.30 to 25.35g needless to say I'm going to do it your way it would have made it a whole lot quicker. Anyways I got another can of 500 to do tonight. Haha don't think I'll even get close to that. Stay blessed my friend and shoot straight from New Mexico 👍🇺🇸✌
Hey neighbor (Colorado)! I'm glad you are getting something out of my videos. When I'm having a focus session of sorting, I like to put on long movies as background noise. "The Ten Commandments" or "Ben Hur" are usually the ones I end up picking.
After all the pellet sorting, have you done a blind shooting test (where you don't know what group of pellets your are actually shooting) to see what the actual difference is in group size (at 20 or 50 or ? meters ) between the various sorted groups of pellets, and compare them to just randomly shooting pellets out of a tin?
No, I have not. I had plans to do something just like that but too much other stuff got in the way. I would still like to do it but, I don't foresee it happening any time soon, unfortunately.
Quick question, after washing, drying, sorting, & weight do you need to re-lube the pellet to help prevent corrosion or oxidation? Great vid as usual! Cheers!!
Holy crap Tom ...we are REALLY feeling out now. But I'm with u. Lucky me my gun likes cheap pellets. So I'll take a tin and put 250 off to the side. Other 250 will get weighed and measured. Then the fun, can we make "off the shelf" pellets really...really good?
what scale are you using ? make and model possibly ? I have been meaning to get serious about shooting ! nice job as always, I enjoy your vids ! Thanks in advance.......
Oops! I meant to put that in the video! I'll leave you a link here and I added it to the description... www.amazon.com/Smart-Weigh-Precision-Milligram-Calibration/dp/B00ESHDGOI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1506649779&sr=8-4&keywords=gemini+scale
2nd place...TWICE! Speed Silo Pro Class and American Field target High Power class. I also qualified for Extreme (100yd) and moved up 1 slot compared to last year, and I did well in 25yd (considering I didn't practice at all. .25 Crown and .22 Royale
That depends on your rifle. Some like lubed pellets and some don't Best thing to do is try it with a few on your rifle to see if theres a noticeable improvement.

Tomcat Airguns thank you. It’s nice to talk to the people you learn from!
Now I'm thinking that I should have stayed with a BB gun. :-(
