Much appreciated! Got an amp and preamp from the 90's that were in my woodshop that are in serious need of a good cleaning! Straight forward we'll done presentation!
@@Yodelinthegully-d7r thank you for the kind message. Without seeing it, it’s hard to see. But you can try to spray it in to the button mechanism. Which will hopefully helps with the issue.
I be extremely careful touching any circuitry with a brush as it can cause short outs which can takes to isolate. Put it on its side and let compressed air and gravity to do its job. You want to avoid touching anything if possible. Repairs are expensive and you can end up writing off the amplifier.
I do not clean with any electrical currents going through the machine. They are all isolated from the mains and discharged. So no risk of any shorts etc.

Thank you, it’s really appreciated.
I am glad it has helped you.
Thankyou it's looks brilliant 😊
Thanks for the video! My early 80s Onkyo TX-41 has sticky monitor buttons. Should I just use the DeOxit on the back of the tape monitor buttons?

@@retfurb Thank you! Keep up the great work!
Why not use compressed air at 20,lbs psi.
My balance knob cuts out randomly either side . If I push on it it helps . Sometimes.
Where can I get a new one ?
I would try to clean it first, as it sounds like this could be the issue. Using the deoxit will hopefully rectify it.
