You’ve probably heard this story: In the late 60’s Joe Walsh was trying to learn the main riff but thought it was all done with one guitar, both the melody and harmony (I.e., lots of double stops, pretty hard). He showed it to Ringo IIRC who laughed and revealed the truth. But if anyone could pull this off it’s JW.

I just happened to be playing the Revolver album when I was listening to my MP3 player while I was out for a walk. This track seems to have some sort of vibrato effect going on in the rhythm. It is possible to do both lead tracks together at the same time using octaves, but it does sound rather stilted and jerky. A great lesson on one of my fave Beatles tracks. 😎🎸🎸

Thanks Marty, appreciated this very much…I was a bit confused that you switched between playing various parts with the capo and without the capo. I know that the song is played with at least two guitars originally but I was hoping the lesson would have been shown entirely with the capo on so I could learn to play both parts with capo on (lead and rythym together) on the same guitar without have to figure out the fingering from the capo off version.

I’m 12 I would really appreciate it if you can teach me a foo fighters song. I’ve always been a really big fan. Thank you Marty you have helped me a lot ever since my dad let me put my guitar in my room, I’ve been doing every day after homework after school.
Good for you. Keep it up. I started playing when I was 14 and then stopped because I had no teacher. I wish I had someone like Marty back then. I started again at 40 and wished I had never stopped. Marty already has some Foo Fighters lessons. Search his videos

major 4th doesn't exist maybe perfect 4th? but the song uses perfect 5th harmony i think
