      How confident are you that this was intentional? Watching live, I thought Johnson just made a good cut based on his defender's positioning.

      @@matthewpabin8517 they’ve been doing this all year. They did it at the end of the game versus KU. Johnson dunked on Jaylen Wilson to seal the deal.

    Keyontae Johnson being the person to dunk it is such a heartwarming moment considering he almost died on the court a few years ago

    It was great! I loved how while Nowell was dribbling up the court, he looked over to the side of the stands where Isaiah Thomas was seated and mouths, "Watch this." Loved the whole development of the play! Thanks for showing.

    Watch it again. You missed a part. A bench player was standing up helping to blend in the baseline player from the defense’s peripheral vision.

      I don’t think he would have sat down as his guy was cutting if it was intentional but if I were ever to run this play I’d do exactly what you mentioned

      Nope, haha. What are you talking about? The defender knew where he was and was not tricked by that, he's tricked because he is caught looking away. If the guy standing had tricked him then he never moves. He SAW him move, he just didn't respond quick enough, because of where his actual focus was.

    Dribbling down the court at the start of this play Markquis yells over to Isiah Thomas (sitting behind the MSU bench) and says "watch this".

    Nowell said that he had been jawing with some court side celebs (can’t remember who) the whole game. Before that play he told them “watch this.” You can see it on the video. Total beast mode!

      Lmao clearly you didn’t watch the game and see how many lobs just like this went down, nor how much they praised eachother in the post interview. Consider the distance covered with that lob either? Shit was nearly from half court, soft lil pass not gonna cut it

      Michigan State plays up the line in help defense so when the play was being called he was already higher up. I don't know their actual calls, but they have run stuff entered into the elbows and 2-3 actions as dummy as well.

    Great play! But...But...Ball palming at both the college and professional level has got to stop! Newell's palming his dribble as he is "arguing" with his coach is infuriating to watch.

    Not an incredible play, the defender is out of position, in peewee ball you are told ALWAYS PUT YOUR BODY BETWEEN THE RIM AND DEFENDER!!!! as that is what he is told to do,(play high and out of position), as all college sports are scripted. Wake up sheep.
