These are times in NBA history when players showboat but it goes wrong. I used game situation, ease of play, embarrassment, etc. to rank these. Business Inquiries: mcosh3@gmail.com
Same with Curry, jeezus christ i wonder how long that behind the back pass plagued his nightmares after 2016. Probably lasted until the 2017 trophy lowkey
@@PyxytyIt was costly, but didn’t necessary lose the game for the Warriors. There was still 5 minutes left and both teams couldn’t score at all. @@SJ-di5zu oh for sure, i dont doubt that it's not really a make-or-break moment. Just meant to say that yeah, it was still a mistake, and in such a loss, those tiny mistakes just haunt you a bit 😅 i agree with what you said
It's honestly really comforting to see how many all-time greats there are in this compilation. It'll help the next time I mess something up at work. Plus, a bit of respect on them for trying to put on a show for the audience.
I greatly appreciate that you let the audio flow from one clip to the next without cutting off the announcers mid sentence. You don’t enough praise for that editing 👌👏
@@henrimarjoan7876 It's a metaphor for a failed showoff, counted by legendary Lakers announcer Chick Hearn, who called like 3,300 games straight without missing one
"Pride goeth before a fall" is the ultimate proverb. This statement has resonated with me about 400 times. And that's only counting this video as 1 time.
Glad you put some older school clips in there. It's always easy to blame stuff like this on the most recent gens, but as long as hoops has been played, there's always someone feeling themselves a little too much in the heat of the moment
super slick editing choice having the tail end of the last clips audio over the buildup to the next clip; doesn't seem like it makes sense on paper but it feels right
After Williams botched to-himself dunk: "I don't think he's even athletic enough to make that!" "No no he is--seriously he is." Haha! I don't know why that exchange was the funniest part of this video for me.
I remember being there for the botched dunk at the Celtics-Wizards game. My dad caught Javale McGee’s shoe, which at the time we thought was a cursed artifact to have because of his repeated Shaqtin’ a Fool appearances, so we gave the shoe to a little kid
6:01 - This has got to be the most embarrassing thing ever happened to this man in his life. The whole arena came to a hush, only to hear you shriek doing that. Wow.
Lol Harden hitting all backboard after the shimmy 😂😂😂

You could probably make one with just Steve Kerr by himself lol
*more angry. to fit the theme
I want to see one with just Kerr
him getting pissed at 1:32 has me dying 😭😭
"Good defence by the rim"
🤣🤣🤣
"I think it was the move that blocked that shot"😂😂
doing a behind the head pass with 30 seconds left in overtime of a PLAYOFF GAME is insane
Not only a playoff game, Game 7, in the final seconds of OT
why did that drexlier basket count when he was fouled and missed? didn't look like a goaltend to me

The fact that MJ and LBJ both missed wide open dunks goes to show it can happen to anyone
It shows that they are actually humans
@@mirteillepepette2084not Duncan Robinson though
I wonder if Vince missed one.

LBJ was never the best at dunking, even compared to the other presidents.
1:53 This isnt a showboat, john wall just wanted to hit gortat in the face with a basketball
Appreciate that audio editing, letting commentators finish 👍🏼
I know, love it!
