Picked up my new UK 500c Dolcevita six speed manual today. Its 70BHP is perfectly useable on the motorway where the speed limit is actually 70mph not the 90 a lot of performance car drivers seem to think it is. I had no issue merging into fast flowing motorways on my trip home from the dealership. I set the cruise to 65 and it was doing 2700rmp in 6th gear with power to spare to get into the 2nd lane for passing. In an era when all cars look the same, the 500 oozes style while it get's the job of going from A to B done. The roads are not a race track but the 500 is like a red rag to the c**ts behind the wheels of BMWs and Mercs etc. and they just HAVE to show dominance by overtaking them. It's funny, though, every time I rounded a 3rd gear 30mph corner (without braking) with one of the afore mentioned ****s up my arse they were loads of car lengths back on exit. Of course they would all catch me on the straight because, without exception, they were all awesome in a straight line! Oh yeah and the 1.0L Firefly engine has a sweet exhaust note. Well, it would, wouldn't it, it's Italian after all.
Just got the Sport model.... Errr yeah I'm officially converted after 3 days in it. The quirks just get better and the steering is buttery light for city driving.
i live in canada, and they stopped bringing these vehicles here because of lack of sales and because every ones want those large trucks. ived owed 2 of these great cars one ABARTH which i drive regularly and then i had a lounge which i sold after driving it for 2 years with no problem but a friend of my convince me to sell it to his wife for city driving and she loves it. these cars are underrated by the the media, the truth is if they are being made in mexico the quality is not there but i owe one made in poland and its great quality.
Love this car. Buying one shortly!!!!
Excellent choice!!
Buying one next year
I can't wait to buy this car
We hope you get it soon, it's so much fun! 😎

Congratulations!! 😊 Many happy miles and thanks for your detailed comment.
Comes only with one option for the engine?

Congratulations, enjoy it!
I am buying this car this year💯
Our favourite comment of the weekend! 😎
Would u recommend a manual or auto? The reviewer did not seem impressed with the auto?
Yes, this auto is rather unusual so only suited to people who can't/won't drive a manual. We definitely recommend the manual!
@@GalimotoMedia thanx 4 advice! 🚗
I am interested . Love this car
Good choice
New, I want 2 scoops of gelato, on a suger cone please..Lovely video
Grazie mille! 😊
Is the 2022 Fiat 500 Dolcevita Light Hybrid 6sp manual available in the USA?
Good question. Perhaps check with a dealer in the USA?
Very nice, but it won't be available in the U.S. since FIAT pulled out, will it ?? I live in the U.S. and do have a regular 2014 green Fiat 500 Pop.
What a pity, enjoy that cool little car!
@@GalimotoMedia Thank you my friend.
Cute car! Soon we start our 50000km European tour in a 53 year old 500R
Wonderful, enjoy and drive safely! 😎
Thank you very much!!!
Can you travel with it in the highway occasionally like twice a month ??
Yes, occasionally is fine!
Perché questo modello non lo fanno con il cambio automatico? 😢
We're not sure, that's what is being sold here in southern Africa.
How can you feel comfortable without an arm rest
Easy, it's a preference. Some people hat arm rests!
Drop the music
Drop the attitude

Thanks for your comment, it really is a shame that everyone's gravitating towards enormous trucks and SUV's. These little cars are so much fun!
Vague dead steering, dated engine that makes all sort of odd noises under load. Looks great but drives like a 25 year old car
Same goes for every new bakkie / pick-up truck, but people still buy them.
Cute but I no longer trust Fiat after two troublesome Fiats in the past.
Sorry to hear that!
Car for grannies in cities. Engine is useless in highways. Makes funny noises when switching gears, not cool at all
And what should people buy instead? Enormous SUV's that never go off-road, or pick-up trucks that won't ever see a farm?
@@GalimotoMedia idk man, drove this in Spain for days and it was only great to park. What can I say, that was my experience

Thanks for your colourful comment! 😊
